In my last 2018 update, I was feeling frisky and updated about half of the team logos in the game. I might go back in and update the rest for my 2023 release. Or I might not. We'll see.

There hasn't been a Tecmo NBA Basketball game since... 2018? Filling the void! Here we go!

This weekend I start work on Tecmo NBA Basketball '23 for NES. I haven't done one since... 2018? It's been awhile. I just finished data collection this past week and will start implementing it in the coming days. Also, this past week I started work on College Slam: Championship Edition for SNES. I've been periodically releasing roster and ratings reveals for each team on my Facebook.com/BaronROMs. There will be 53 teams total (44 original teams, 9 additional teams).

Has this been answered, yet? If you're talking about the lack of player parts, once you click on one of the fields that has Head/Body/Legs values, the window expands. By the way, have you seen the new release of Ken Griffey Jr. Presents: MLB '23? Once it leaves Patreon-exclusivity, I plan on putting it on this site.

I currently have R.B.I. Baseball 2022 on my page at BaronGaming.weebly.com. I released R.B.I. Baseball 2023 to my Patreon as an appetizer while I finish up on Ken Griffey Baseball 2023. In the next week or so, I'm going to be releasing Griffey '21 from Patreon-exclusive status on BaronGaming.weebly.com. There's a lot in this thread that I didn't read it all, but concerns I dis notice that have been addressed: ERAs above 5.11 are possible Pitcher appearances on the mound have been adjusted. 6 MLB players are featured in the HR Derby. Did I miss anything?

The best one available is the one I made back in 2015. It's in the OTHERS section in the Downloads on this page. If it's not there in the next week or so, it'll be on my BaronGaming.weebly.com page.

@Ian Jones I got your message and the information you're asking about. Right now my hex info is just notes jotted down on Notepad, clearly indecipherable by anybody. When I go to update my old Griffey Legends ROM, I will put the info in a more user-friendly format (including how to increase POW and FLD to 10 and Homerun Derby contestants) I will either send it to you or post it here.

About a year ago I started a similar project before putting on the back-burner (the destination of about 75% of the projects I start). I went with single season teams instead of decade teams, though. From the scrap-heap:

With the recent Griffey talk, this reminds me that I need to update and re-release my original Ken Griffey Jr. Presents: Legends of Major League Baseball ROM. Updates will include fixed pitcher heads, current generation players (Judge, Trout, Arenado, etc), and a HR Derby update. Stay tuned.

The pitcher hair/beard/glasses/ can be changed using a hex editor (I use HXD). I forget the exact locations, but each player has a value from 00-43 that controls this. I'll post the locations later. You can check out my Ken Griffey 2019 in the Downloads to see this in action.

I've seen this before. Either delete the save file associated with the ROM, reload the ROM, and the player names should appear correctly, or go into each team's Team Edit, and press Team Reset for each team. This should reset the teams to the correct player names.
