  1. Hey, Chris99, how do you move the FG posts to the front of the endzones?
  2. Are you guys going to relocate the field goal posts so that they are positioned at the front of the end zone? This was a pre 1974 rule, if I'm not mistaken. Also, there was no overtime period in regular season games. Is that another thing you'll be implementing, too?
  3. Never mind, Buck, I got it. Thanks for the code. It worked like a charm. (changing the kickoff location to the 30 or 40 yard line) -30 yard- To change player 1 to the 30: 0x247B9: A0 60; 0x247BB: A2 07 To change player 2 to the 30: 0x24031: A0 A0; 0x24033: A2 08 -40 yard- To change player 1 to the 40: 0x247B9: A0 B0; 0x247BB: A2 07 To change player 2 to the 40: 0x24031: A0 50; 0x24033: A2 08 Note: must use the 20 yard line to middle of end zone option otherwise the kickoff could go out of the end zone and award the opposing team a safety. (kickoff lengths) #ALL KICKOFFS RANGE FROM 16YD-LINE TO BACK OF ENDZONE SET(0x2A534, 0x4C83BF) SET(0x2BF93, 0xA5454AA5446A186992A8A9016900AA4C2FA5) #ALL KICKOFFS RANGE FROM 20YD-LINE TO MIDDLE OF ENDZONE (2nd option is needed for 40y ko) SET(0x2A534, 0x4C83BF) SET(0x2BF93, 0xA5454AA5446A186962A8A9016900AA4C2FA5) I got all this from Buck and the Raja by the way. I just wanted them in one place is all.
  4. Hey, Buck. Thanks for the reply. I'm a newbie here and don't quite know how to look for something like that. I have the FCEUXDSP program and have opened up the rom, but for the life of me, I can't see what you mean by replacing the script that you've listed. Please, if you can, advise me how to do this. If it's too complicated, then could you instead post a rom where this already done. I would appreciate it.
  5. Could anyone post an original TSB rom with the kickoff position at the 30. I'm trying to complete a 94 rom and this is one thing I need added.
  6. Hey, guys. Did any of you create a 28 team rom with a 8 playoff bracket?
  7. Hey, Carther, have you figured out how to do an eight team playoff bracket?
  8. What was the flag picture graphic supposed to be anyway?
  9. Good question. Has anyone made an 8 team playoff bracket hack? How about a 16 team playoff bracket to cover the 82 strike season?
  10. This works pretty good. But is anyone else noticing certain player images come up as an error after selecting them?
  11. Yeah, but you're still stuck with 8 divisons, corrrect?
  12. So, if you can remove teams, then can you add them, as well? Well, at least enough to make 30 team Roms to cover the 95-98 seasons? Seeing that you can remove teams and knowing that there are two spaces available in the AFC Central and NFC West, in theory it looks like you can make at least six 5 team divisions, anyway.
  13. Thanks, man. But after downloading the necessary editors, I've decided on re-doing the Roms, myself. I like the 1978 Redux rom, but not knowing how to edit graphics, I've decided to use another rom as a base file, instead. The main reason for doing so is because I pretty much want the game to feel and play like the original. I've been using roms based on the 1978-94 seasons and extracting the rosters and schedules from them so I can implement the information into the 10 team playoff file hack, and finishing the rest with the 12 team playoff version that comes with the original release. This will save me a ton of time, thankfully. I'm going to re-edit all rosters to be as close to the corresponding seasons as possible, and to the best of my knowledge correct player attributes to reflect their yearly performances. I'm no expert at this and I'm only using the original game as a reference when it comes to player ratings — I just figured I would take the time to complete these and share them here on this site when all is set and done. I just hope I don't lose the patience on this doing this, though.
  14. Hey, guys. Question: which hack program do I need to change quarter lengths back to five minutes?
  15. Hey, guys. Is there any way to copy and paste the rosters from the 70's and 80's Roms? I noticed that these hacks still contained the twelve team playoff bracket and was wondering if the info from these Roms can be inserted into the TSB NFL Redux rom, which does have the ten playoff bracket that was in place since 1970 to 1989.
  16. Hey, guys. Newbie here. I am amazed at the passion, and sweat and tears, that must have been put in to make this great game even greater. After downloading the newer updates, I also decided to examine the older season Roms to see how much of them were really accurate. And so I started scouring the entire site in hopes that I could obtain Roms based on the years from 1978 to 2014 (16 game schedules), but I discovered that many of them weren't accurate as far as it concerning the playoff bracket (78-89 seasons only consisted of ten playoff teams), and the teams that expanded the league since 1995 are either missing or replaced other franchises. I did discover that the rom labelled TSB NFL 1978 Redux had brilliantly implemented the ten team playoff bracket (as well as the team colors of that time) and can only guess that this particular edit was done recently. Hence the reason why most of the Roms spanning the seventies and eighties still contained the twelve team playoff bracket, instead. My question is this: is there a way to copy and paste the rosters and schedules from these Roms and into the 1978 Redux file, or is it that the only way to obtain this information is to do each person and schedule individually by using one of the TSB editors? I have no knowledge and skill to do any of this anyway, as far as the copying and pasting is concerned, but I was wondering if the former would be a feasible method nonetheless.
