  1. I'm sorry, I couldn't get it to work. It's probably more because I'm not good with computers and technology and things like that.
  2. I'm interested. The SNES version was actually the first baseball game I ever played. I quite enjoy keithisgood's game, but I'd also be interested in the SNES version as well.
  3. Thank you very much for the answer. The reason I had asked is that I found this website (I have the bookmark but it's called Serene's Forest) that has translations of older Fire Emblem games that you can patch onto the Japanese roms so I was just curious about that. Thanks for the help.
  4. Thank you, davefmurray. And there's prepatched roms out there? I didn't know about that. Is it better to do the patching myself, or get a prepatched rom?
  5. keithisgood, could I use that method to play translated roms? As an example, there's some Fire Emblem games on the SNES that never released in America that I would love to play if I could. So, if I got a Japanese rom and the translation, would I be able to patch it using the above method?
  6. Oh wow...I went to that site and I couldn't believe it! That's amazing all those cool hacks were done by people. That's so cool. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
  7. Thanks, keithisgood. And wow, I checked out that site and it looks amazing. The original The Legend of Zelda is one of my favorite games from when I was younger. This rom just looks incredible, what an awesome throwback.. I hope I can play this on nesDS or find another emulator that will play it. If you or anyone else knows of any other cool roms like these, please let me know.
  8. Holy wow, I just stumbled upon this topic and I'm amazed. I haven't had a chance to read it all yet (on lunch break, need to get back) but this sounds incredible. I loved this game. This is very impressive stuff.
  9. Wow, this is awesome stuff. I'm sorry, but I do have some noob questions if anyone can please answer them for me. Do I need to do anything special in order to play these games? I ordered a DSTWO and should be getting it soon and I was wondering if I need any certain emulators? I've been told that NesDS is the best NES emulator out there. Is that true? And could I play any of these games with it? I'm using a 2GB micro SD card if that's relevant (probably not, but I'm a total; noob so I'm not sure) Can I get in trouble by downloading these? My ISP is very strict on piracy. Again, sorry for the questions, I'm pretty computer illiterate and don't know much about this stuff.
  10. Hey guys, I just discovered this site. I had no idea people were making updated versions of Tecmo Bowl. That's so awesome, I played that game so much as a kid. Anyhow, on topic, tactical rpg/strategy games are one of my favorite genres. Fire Emblem: Awakening is incredible. There's also 2 Fire Emblem GBA games, 1 Gamecube title, 1 on Wii, and 1 on Nintendo DS. Final Fantasy Tactics is another good franchise. There's 1 on PS1, 1 on GBA, and 1 on DS. As previously mentioned Shining Force 1 and 2 for Genesis and 1 on GBA. Age of Empires has 2 games on DS I would also recommend Advance Wars. It's more modern, but lots of fun. There's 2 on GBA and 2 on DS. There's more, but I think that's enough for now.
