  1. Ron Morris meh. I substitute John Harvey for Bruce Hill and he catches EVERYTHING.
  2. I always thought that higher PC meant less likely to throw picks and that accuracy was just that. My pet peeves are when I'm trying to throw to a guy coming across the middle and the ball is thrown right out of bounds into the stands.
  3. Among starters Harbaugh is hands down the worst passer. I still after 25 years can't really differentiate between PC and PA. My memory isn't as keen on backups, but it seems Laufenberg is the worst (in real life as well).
  4. I always use Tomczak. Harbaugh is hands down among the wildest in the game.
  5. I love III on Genesis. I take more pleasure in building my teams and letting them play out themselves than actually 'playing' the game. Utilizing the trades, I'll build super teams with all of the highest rated players in the game, yet I'll somehow still go like 8-8 if I choose SKP for the season. However, if I choose COM for the season, than my team seems to do a lot better. I don't know why that is but oh well.
  6. Indeed. I've had a game where the punter scored two TD's in one game. I found it extremely comical that the punter would be on the top scorers list, if even once.
  7. Has anybody had any epic last play of the game/regulation plays? I've had a few throws that went 90 yards or so with the receiver timing it perfectly making a diving catch in the corner of the endzone. It seems odd to me how as the difficulty picks up during the course of the season, a 90 yard throw can be caught on a dive with 9 defenders standing right there. Whatever, I'll take it.
  8. I've blocked punts in the past to where the opposing punter would pick it back up and run like a laser some 80 yards or so, I'm talking giving Bo a run for his money kind of speed. Very odd.
  9. Normally about 9 times out of 10, as the CPU nobody...and I mean nobody....throws more than Majik. Using Woodside, Haddix, and Thompson can be fun too. Imagine how close Barry was going to this team? Haha.
  10. Indeed. I've had some full field punt returns before, but only with guys running everywhere and diving like crazy. During the seasons as the CPU difficulty picks up, it's hilarious to see the opposing punter be a kamikaze out there. I've been ran down several times by him. Picks are a pain in the ass because it's almost like whenever there's a pick, there's some sort of automatic speed penalty as opposed to fumbles where the speed of the player who scoops it up seems to have randomized speed. Sometimes the player is lightning fast and other times snail slow. It's odd.
  11. I wonder what the field goal record is? Also, I've had several instances of scoring TD's (and winning games) when the opposing team is backed up on their own goal line and run the shotgun play where the RB runs to the flat and curls in and sits there. Regardless if anybody else is covered or not, I'll cover that guy every time. But sometimes I get burned for 100 yard touchdowns. I'll take that risk every time.
  12. Makes sense. I've always thought it was odd how it differed from team to team. Now I see why, kind of a clever concept.
  13. Mind certainly is blown. But that's kind of random and odd haha.
  14. I've had some epic punt returns for TD's as well. For some reason, Leo Lewis on Minnesota hauls serious ass. I've noticed that guys with low MS seem to make the best punt returners. I also like throwing in Ottis Anderson, Okoye, Cobb, Mueller, etc. Heavy HP guys that sweep away all competition at punt return.
  15. Haha that's awesome. At that point in the game the computer is toughest. It doesn't matter if you're rice or not, they catch everything. Really have to mind your p's and q's.
  16. I've played TSB since literally the day it came out, and I've obviously played in some epic games. However, I believe that my most memorable play is probably about 20 years ago, the first time I ever had a pick 6. We all know how difficult it is to run back interceptions. I had a 50 yard pick 6 with Ben Smith from Philly. How about you?
  17. True, but I seldom use anything outside of a DB when I defend unless in emergency situations or if that front 7 player is elite or at least borderline elite. That being said, Tim Harris is good but wouldn't really fulfill my every down role. I've done just fine with Murphy or Holmes. As mentioned, I despise Seattle, but when I've played with them in the past, I'd drop Jacob Green into coverage (!!!). With the Rams, I'll drop Kevin Greene into coverage and such.
  18. As a hardcore Lions fan, I approve of this message. However, Suh's HP should be 75
  19. I would have loved to have seen Ty Law in the game.
  20. I just love how Art Monk has some serious HP for a WR.
