Every time player121xk and my brother have gone to Madison, it has been an absolute treat. However, this trip was just a little bit sweeter. As always, Chet, Josh, and Tony do an absolutely phenomenal job running the tournament. It always amazes me the attention to detail with everything going on. I really appreciate the work that you guys (and everyone else that helps) put in and hope that you enjoy your extra free time next year. Additionally, I really appreciate the work that Dave did with the stream. My parents were able to watch the last two games, which was pretty cool for them and I. It was difficult trying to explain why Tecmo players want to see the halftime show but well worth it, so thanks so much. It was great seeing guys who I had played against years ago like Tony and Brian in TCS, but also getting to meet Regulator, DeGeorge, Kyle, and Mort. Everyone was so unbelievably nice. The Tecmo community is certainly tough to beat. While Tony's crew is tough to beat, I had the best group of supporters in the building with Matt and James K. We had a lot of practice time, and I certainly wouldn't have been there (or played as well) without them.

After having some time to think about this past weekend, it is still pretty tough putting everything together. I would have never imagined getting to play against the most well-known Tecmo player in Mort, dealing with the best Tecmo posse and all-around great guy in Tony, playing against one of the greatest tappers/players in Regulator, or getting the chance to compete for the title with one of the best online Tecmo players in Gats. Everyone of those guys (and everyone else I played) was truly a class-act. Once I have kids, I look forward to telling them about the greatest Tecmo weekend of my life. It was real honor getting to play with some of the best Tecmo players around.

I only played in one online Tecmo league. The Tecmo Championship Series. I was ten when I started and still remember going to school bragging about how I was in a Tecmo league. I had lots of fun. However, my record was not very good. Because I find some weird irony in it, here is my coach page of the old TCS league: http://www.tecmochampionshipseries.com/team.php?id=8&initials=EIU

    Thanks again everyone.
