(actually I wouldn't be surprised if Lorenzo White is that fast because he doesn't focus on holding on to the ball :))

You can't possibly mean that a bunch of grown men who are largely introverted and still obsessed with an almost 26-year-old video game can be socially awkward? I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!

These are preseason rosters from last season and you should also play a game with the team. You'll see why they are in the spots they are in. It is less about labels and more about field positioning.

    Thanks for the feedback!

They stay at 100. Basically they are always 100 unless they are in bad, in which case they are 94 across.

Wow, if anyone used this in a tournament I'd be very likely to enter, no matter where it was

Jimmy is right about Man vs Man. Vs. com I tend to pick a lot of goal when I select running plays and dime when I select passing. But I usually have a created team, and all my DB have 88 INT, so having 6 of them out there on a passing down is kind of nice.

As far as audibling goes vs the CPU, sometimes when you hint at audibling you can get the other team to audible. If you memorize their playbook, it can help you know what play they called sometimes. If you do audible to a different defense, all it seems to do is move the players around. I'm not sure whether it changes what they all do. Has anyone tested this?

Nowadays I only play vs the CPU. I don't audible on defense, and I always select a linebacker. I either help out on run defense or drop into coverage most of the time.

On offense I only audible if I called the wrong type of play.

Unfortunately the only way you can do that is to create the players in each other's slots and build them up enough so the stats match what they're supposed to be. Or you can do it in regular season if you can get Cutler hurt

I would recommend increasing injuries. A lot of these teams have no depth, and it would make the game more challenging if they had to have capable backups.

Hmm, maybe. Long story short, a friend in Beaverton ships everything I sell on eBay, and I have 2 different trading card products coming out a week before and after this tournament. I was planning on helping him sort so ... .

Perfect timing because I use the GameFAQs version of your FAQs when I create players in TSB3. I see you've changed some of the rankings, but in the SNES version if quickness and pass accuracy actually mean something then following your NES TSB FAQ isn't going to help me

Thanks, BTW, for writing the FAQ and eventually splitting it into two parts. I've probably been reading variations of them for over 15 years.

I'll be playing this on my flight to Japan next week. Someday we'll have a 32-team ROM of TSB3, and how happy will that make me.

You can only audible in TSB3 I think. And with the Genesis you can call time out before the snap by pressing start, so if it's a key situation and COM responds to your audible with an audible, you can always call time out and try again, provided you have a TO left of course.

joelcsuh got a reaction from cubsfan5150 in March Madness: multiple locations and a final four
For some, travel is an issue when it comes to tournaments. It costs money to fly, and some of the bigger tournaments aren't in locations that have cheaper flights.

March Madness doesn't host all the games in one place. What if there were a TSB tournament that took place in multiple venues simultaneously? I'd be much more likely to enter a large field if I could be in the West bracket. Even if the Sweet 16 (let alone Final 4) advanced to a central location, it would cut down on travel expenses for many, while still giving people the opportunity to win it all.

Ohio? Maybe. PNW? Maaaaaaaybe. Kind of nice because we all play certain types of players better than others, and now we have that opportunity. The only way it would be better is if it were done regular season style, because then there would be injuries, but I realize that that would take way, way longer.

Minnesota also makes returns easier because of Randall McDaniel, yeah? My only punt return TD in my LIFE is with Leo Lewis.
