No, Knobbe. I wasn't looking to be misquoted, misrepresented as starting my own thread to attack buck, nor to create a Chek vs *anybody* battle. Once again, that is absolutely drama and theatrics that you created, not I. And Maynard, I was doing nothing differently than anybody else was, and it absolutely was productive. It let the people see what the Rom was about/based on, which was previously unclear. The situation took a wrong turn only when it went the direction of who would beat who in the game, which was a misunderstanding of which you'll notice that Buck and I got past on our own, and without the help of you two TecmoBook mediators and your lectures. Your involvement and words in things like this is laughable. We're grown men, We'll get through it. Save the lectures for your kids.

So you wanted to mirror the original version. Kaepernick is QB Eagles, Peterson is Bo, Megatron is Rice, etc, etc? I get it now, and I love it. I actually started a rom exactly as such, and never finished. I had RG3 as QB Eagles though. I think Wilson was Testeverde and Kaepernick was maybe Majkowski. Cutler was Elway, Weeden was BJ Tolliver, etc, etc. I forget who I was using for Freeman. Maybe Steve Young, which yes, would be a little too good for him.

I liked it better when I thought you and buck were pissed. I had hope for a second we'd get a sweet TSB '14 showdown between the Bucs and Bengals for all of us to see (streamed). This getting along thing is bullshit. What better way to kick off a launch?

Being a "good owner" in the sense that you get your games in will get you a ways in the online leagues.

Ugh. Typical tborg Tecmobook drama, and people getting their panties all in a bunch.  I made no such topic. Somebody is abusing mod powers. This is all pulled for the tborg14 rom release thread. I was simply confused as to why players were rated the way they were, and why later I was told by the creator of the game that the Bengals with 50ms RBs were made to pound the rock in route to victory over the Bucs top ranked run defense. Freeman was also made with a measly 25pc. Yes, he does suck, but not that badly. And guys like Andy Dalton have 50pc with just one less INT. A very good Bucs offensive line was also made to be terrible on this game. This all just made no sense to me. Buck clarified a lot of it before a very civil conversation suddenly turned extremely anti-Buccaneers.

 

Outside of this and a couple of other strange numbers,  I said it was a great rom, for crying out loud.

Well, buck. I'm not sure you wanted to go there. I'd take the Bucs and just pound the rock to victory, which is exactly what the real Bucs would not be able to do against the very stout Cincy front seven. They'd have a little more pass orientated attack. So our game wouldn't depict real life whatsoever. I get you though on wanting to keep good teams good and bad teams bad though, and how some times you have to dock guys for that purpose. I just think you made it too extreme on some guys. And it looks like I'm not alone on that.

50ms is generally seen as the threshold for effective running. Some can do 44ms though, especially if they are good tappers. A good DB3, controlled by a good player, is hard to run on with any play and with any back though. most consider it the best man control position on the field.
