  1. Dusto I thought about that so my next question would be is if the FPW (Fire Pro Wrestling) route an option? They did not have WWF/E rights or any for that matter but they made it fully customizable from editing players, rings, belts and logos. I've always wondered if WrestleFest did the same thing but named the game something else, didn't use the wrestlers names/ likeness, etc. would Titan/ WWE/ McMahon be able to block it? I'm not even sure if WWE has the rights to the engine as the 2012 iPhone/ Android remake seemed slightly different. Just questions as I don't know what is what exactly. There didn't seem to be any problems with WWF Legends 2.0 (No Mercy Mod), so I've always wondered why a WrestleFest one never came to fruition.
  2. Now Carmen San Diego, where can I play that? Knoberto? David of Murray?
  3. Knobbe thanks for the link. Just played this and 4 of my people died when crossing some river (they drowned), I remained and made it all the way to the Dallies, one landmark away from the finish and died of dysentery. What actually happens when you complete this cause I've never done it. Also, anyone know where I can play Carmen San Diego?
  4. DOSbox? What's that? Some kind of emulator? Do both Oregon Trail and Carmen San Diego run on that?
  5. Take a look at this site... http://nightwulf.rbicentral.com/rbi-editor/ It's a breakdown for RBI (but the values are the same for RBI 3). Avg, HR, ERA have no bearing on players abilities. These are the ones that do... CONTACT - the lower the better, this how much power is detracted from power. From the Original RBI 3 E. Murray's the lowest at 6, R. Henderson, Dykstra and some others are 7 POWER - self explanatory, Fielder and Sandberg are the highest at 945 and the lowest are around 735-750 SPEED - self explanatory, Coleman is 152 and Henderson is 150 Pitchers are a little different, their abilities are as follows... DROP (0-15) - the higher the value gives you a split/ forkball that will land in the dirt the lower the number the more of a knuckleball effect (when holp up with the controller) CURVE LEFT (0-15) the higher the more curve to the left of the screen CURVE RIGHT (0-15) the higher the more curve to the left of the screen SLOW - speed range of the pitch (when holding up) MED - speed range for a normal pitch FAST - speed range for a fastball (when holding down) STAMINA - the number of pitches each pitcher has, usually 48 for starters and 15 for relievers. Each pitcher loses one for a regular pitch and 2 for pitch when holding either up or down. Check out tecmobowl-vs-rbi.com it has very good explanations there although it's based on RBI. The abilities are very transferable to RBI, with some very slight changes, mainly contact, and the hitters are not as powerful. I think I have an Excel spreadsheet of the original RBI 3 players abilities. I forgot how to add attachment here, when Knobbe tells me I'll post it for you.
  6. Thanks. It looks very familiar with the names and the hitters, but I'm going to have to try and figure my way through the ERA stuff. I'm assuming Dot Five, Six and Seven are Contact, Power and Speed but I'm guessing here.
  7. I understand there have been people trying to edit/ mod/ update Wrestlefest, but I don't wanna say too much as they may be running into legal/ copyright problems that may have caused them to stop.I don't know how much legal trouble someone could get into for a 20 year old game, but it was mentioned that some kid remade a Smurfs game and is now facing legal action due to it so I don't know. Is it that serious?
  8. Wow you guys went back for this one. Oregon Trail and Where In The World is Carmen San Diego. Is there a away I can play these now on my Laptop?
  9. Nick everything is great. Keep the colours changes and everything the same. I just wanted to be able to change players names, stat, power, control, pitchers curve left, right, drop ratings etc. Basically keeping all of you changes with but with the ability to create different teams from different years or all time teams. Like your legends teams in place of the All Star Teams. For instance and All Time Yankees, A's, Giants teams, but keeping everything you have the same. Hope that makes it a little bit more clearer. So I could have a Red Sox team with T. Williams, Ramirez, Yaz, Ortiz, Clemens, Pedro, Cy Young etc. but with all of your changes.
  10. Nice work. Is there away to edit the players (names, stats, etc.) and keep everything else?
  11. I asked for this in a different thread. Would be disappointed if it didn't come to fruition. It may be mute now but shouldn't it be.... HOME AWAY Q1 P1 P2 Q2 P2 P1 Q3 P2 P1 Q4 P1 P2
  12. When I upload a SNES ROM it needs to be 1,536 KB, but I after I edit it - change names stats etc. - it becomes only 70 KB and won't load. Can anybody tell me why? Also it loads a file instead of SMC File, or that's what it's listed as, even when I change it. I think something might have went wrong when I changed the teams uniforms but can some one help.
  13. All is right with the Tecmo world. Thank you sir. Not completely... just a little bit.
  14. Knobbe If it helps I'm using Internet Explorer. It always worked fine up until recently.
  15. Dave, I'll give it you, that made me laugh. And Knobbe as with TK, the "Quote" isn't functioning for me currently. It has never been an issue previously.
  16. This may be a stupid question but would it be possible to play from the player 1 side (going left to right) for quarters 1 & 4 and somehow hack it so that you play from the player 2 side (going right to left) for quarters 2 & 3? The format is already there (lining up the players, switching playbooks so they go the opposite way) for 1P vs 2P, so would it be possible to use that as a starting point, or is it just wishful thinking?
  17. Dave you're right switching sides is TSB II or III (or both) but want it TSB 1. Also 4-3 defences as well, I know they got it in the NES version but I don't know if it made it's way to the SNES version. But is it a lot? My hacking knowledge etc. is limited, but mainly switching sides, 4-3 defences and maybe stats. One can hope I guess. And if DogTag is MIA, thanks for crushing my hopes. Appreciate that.
  18. Can anyone conform or deny if switch sides after each quarter is possible? Did the hack work and if so, where can I get it? Also can we make quarterback throw with their dominant hands, even if it puts their back to the screen. When going left to right the QB is right handed and when going right to left the QB is left handed. Would it be possible to make the quarterback throw with their actual/ dominant hand?
  19. I noticed a thread by DogTag where he was possibly trying to get 32 team ROM for the SNES version. I was wondering if anyone knows how or would/ could be able to incorporate some hacks from TSB II and III. Ones I would like to see are -switching sides after each quarter, in one player you always go left to right, I want to be able to right to left as well for half the game -stats, they tabulate in game stats better, not just the best receiver/ RB stats, but the top 4, and not just one QB, but both, and I think you can see stats in game as well That's all I can think of. Don't want to change too much such as the extra plays, the original version is classic, but maybe an option to audible. Anyone?
  20. Thurman got injured in the Super Bowl?!? I never knew players could get injured in the playoffs or maybe I've just never seen it. I remember starting one season with Cowboys and Emmitt got hurt 3-4 games in, came back after a couple and got hurt again, and I said fuck it. Never finished that season was going to but I don't know what happened. I just remember him getting hurt and then playing some edited ROM. So Thurman going down is surprising. All I can remember about playing wit/vs. Buffalo is Thurman gets hurt or he goes off. You used the Rams, they should be pretty decent with Bettis giving them a balanced offence. The 49ers/ Cowboys, I can usually handle one team with the other. I probably could with the Bills, but don't recall a season with them in recent years. Too easy. 2 great safeties, Smith and Bennett up front and that offence. Speaking of the 1993 ROM I'm touching up, you should see what you can do with the Raiders. A slightly better Hostetler/ T. Brown and Marcus Allen. The D is still the same though.
  21. DeBerg I didn't wanna hack your "Browns" thread (will respond about playing the 49ers in reg. season later), but I wanted to create a 1993 ROM. I will create an "All Time" ROM but have some issues with that. For the 1993 ROM these are the changes to teams I've made so far: ADDED: -Bledsoe NE (his rookie season) -Levon Kirkland PIT (his rookie season) -M. Allen RAI (should really be on KC, but they have Okoye/ Word) -Mirer SEA (His rookie season) CHANGED: -Elway DEN (fixed his PC to make him play like he did in 1992-93) -T. Brown RAI (slightly upped his MS and REC) -Aikman DAL (changed him from 63-69-69 to 69-69-63) -Irvin DAL (upped his MS, 38 does not do him justice, he's at 50 or maybe 44) -George IND (upped his PS, always had a strong arm, PC/ PA stayed the same) -Hostetler RAI (slightly upped PS/ PA/ PC) -Rypien WSH (slightly upped his PS/ PA/ PC) -TE's Sharpe DEN/ K. Jackson MIA/ B. Jones SF/ Novacek DAL/ Cook NE (all tweaked so they are the best 5 TE's in the game in that order) Also is there a hack that allows you to play TSB I from right to left as well as left to right as in TSB II/ III? I will see what other changes need to be made, and will listen to suggestions.
  22. Aw hell no!!! Why did you change your name? Bad Moon Rison was one of the best names here.
  23. DeBerg Nice that won with CLE although it's bullshit that it came at the expense of my Niners. This thread makes me wish I had kept better track of the seasons I played. Need a new Android phone as with the Gametel controllers I can play TSB anywhere anytime I feel. Think about the Motorolla Droid 5 (I need a keypad, fuck touchscreens). Anyway I would like an "All Time ROM" best players in franchise history (think I said this previously) so every game during the season would be like a pro bowl calibre game. Again as a SF fan it pains me to say this but I'd probably go with the Cowboys, I mean... Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Pearson, Witten on offence, Ware, R. White, Walls, etc. on defence. I'd like to see what I can do with that. Watching top 10 SF players of all time currently on NFL Network and it should be.. 1. Montana 2. Rice 3. Lott 4. Young (though I've always been partial to him over Joe)
  24. You're right about the Niners secondary, it can be vulnerable at times. The do a good job for the majority of the time but like you said a top notch QB can do some damage. Aikman and Marino got to me, although they dealt with everyone else. I'm happy to hear fumbles cost you a game, just so I know it's not just happening to me. Frustrates me to no end. Great drive then a fumble, or a punt or deep in your own end and... fumble. Makes me wanna punch someone. Keep the season recaps coming (and stories of games) I like reading them.
