There is a possibility that I may fly up there from Louisiana for this event. This tournament is on my Tecmo bucket list. My financial advisor/boss (wife) hasn't approved yet. Hopefully all works out for me to attend.

I'll be posting the stream videos by this weekend, work has slowed the release of the videos a bit. I think I had too much fun. Drank more Brooklyn Lager than I expected and it affected my play. But Jim T. handed me my ass by running all over me in the quarter finals on his way to a 3rd place finish. You can count this swamp rat as in for next year, but I'll take it easy on the Brooklyn Lager next time.

I think this is a good sign for me. As most of you know I am an HVAC-R Technician and do alot of my best work in attics. "The Attic" is technically my office!!!

Less than a week out. The swamp will invade NYC with mediocre Tecmo skills!!!! Nothing but flea flickers, reverse plays and play action passes!!!!! Can you say CHAMPIONSHIP!?!?!? Looking forward to getting to hang out with my Northeast Tecmo buds How large is the field this year?

Awe man....... On the bright side I have another year to prepare for a title defense. I'm definitely attending CT 9!!!!!!

Booked flights and hotel!!!! I'll be landing at JFK right before 11am on Friday. Need to know a great spot to eat some NYC BBQ or any other good eats. Will there be an issue with me streaming some of the games during the tournament? I may bring my PC.

Just paid entry fee. I'll be getting there Friday around noon wish and leaving Sunday morning. Kind of a quick turn around, but it'll still be great fun. I don't think I'm on the mailing list. I was wondering if its worth it to rent a car or just use the transit system? I don't think I want to stress over NYC traffic

Believe it or not, the payout isnt a big deal to me. Yes its cool to win money but I'm more of a trophy type of guy. Plus its awesome to play some Tecmo with some cool ass people.

I'm actually scheduled to be on call for work the weekend of this tournament, but I may swap with a coworker so I can attend.

I do tournaments down in the swamps of Louisiana, you are more than welcome to attend. My tournament will be in the summer (between June and August). I travel alot for Tecmo so I know how it is. Supporting tournaments in your region is pretty important to making your tournament a success as well. So attending southern tournaments will get you name and face out there and guys will be more inclined to travel to your tournament since you attended theirs. We do pretty good in my area in terms of participants. Yes guys you heard it here first Swamp Bowl III is coming soon!!!!

doing a large tournament will have to be a group effort. If we in the Tecmo community help and support each others tournaments one could possibly grow as big as Madison was. I travel alot to attend tournaments even though my chances of winning are slim. I travel to tournaments because I enjoy hanging out with a bunch of guys who share the same interest as me and to show my support for their tournament. With out the players supporting each other these tournaments wouldn't exist.

I'll check my work schedule and get approval from the wife to attend. Hopefully all will work out for me to attend.

if the date was moved up 1 week instead of 2 I would have been golden to go. I'll do my best to make the next one for sure.
