  1. Not even the best Patriot kicker. Vinatieri takes that one, due to his penchant for making late game kicks. But best kicker ever? Morten Andersen. Why he isn't in the HOF already is nonsense. Dude holds 13? 14? NFL records, is the leading all-time scorer, and is also the leading scorer for both the Saints and Falcons. Jason Hanson/Gary Anderson have an argument as well.
  2. Sent a friend request a few days ago. Looking to try and set something up for thursday around 8pm CST. my buddy (who comes with me to tourneys and plays TSB as well) is down. Which maps do you have? I have them all - looking mostly for buried/die rise EE.
  3. gotcha no prob. also looking for black ops 2 achievements as well. I'll most likely be on tonight/this weekend, and im on late as well. ill text ya later
  4. Anyone play this on 360 at all? Looking for some guys to help out with stuff - namely 4 player achievements.
  5. And I still mean what I said - I'll take PIT/DAL/JETS/GB/ATL/NO..hell, even Seattle against "your PHX Cardinals", and I'd probably still whoop ya.
  6. If it can't change, just message me. I live about 35 minutes from Manitowoc. I'll bring my NES for some live Tecmo if you'd like. Plus it'd give me some reps before that next weekend if it stays on that date.
  7. Minecraft I say no, because if you;re going to induct a "world-building" game, then it HAS to to be Sim City or the Civilization series. They did more for that genre and have been around much longer than Minecraft. That one can wait it's turn, if it ever gets one.
  8. While that deserves props(thought Madden was EA's biggest - learn something new every day), IMHO it didn't change or innovate the industry enough to warrant going into the 1st HOF class alongside Pong, Mario, etc.
  9. I had a problem with a few nominees being there(Angry Birds, FIFA, Minecraft), but the correct choices made it in right off the bat. Although I'd make a motion for either Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest/Warrior series.
  10. Only INT I threw all day was when I played him, so he can take solace in that fact..
  11. Trying to swing this. Birthday is June 22, and moving July 1, and already going to Midwest. Probably not going to happen, but I may be able to make it work, depends on finances.
  12. Rather have 19/56/81 over 6/81/69, just sayin
  13. Ottis isn't even the best RB on his team. Whoever wrote that should build up a tolerance for weed before smoking their first bowl and writing an article.
  14. Look forward to a better showing than last year. Lesson learned - don't go into a tournament with 0 prep games, especially when transitioning from online to console.
  15. All I'm saying is your precious Johnny couldn't hold onto the ball when his team needed it most. See Tecmo XI - 4th place game.
  16. I must say, it is kind of weird seeing my name near the top..
  17. Look forward to the details. Only from Oshkosh, so I'd probably make it.
  18. Johnny Johnson coughs up the ball like he was molded from Crisco.. Never use him.
  19. The first player listed is Player 1. Took this off of the 10 hour+ video. Lost every single coin toss since Round of 32.
  20. I said here try this, and before I could utter another word, he was drinking lol. - it was an apple cider/juice/everclear concoction that's served in bars around here. Not really that strong.
  21. First off, I want to say a special thank you to Chet, Josh, Tony, Bailey, and everyone else who contributes to the running of this tournament. Yes, including you, Dave. The excellent work you do streaming is awesome and much appreciated. This time of year is like Christmas to some of us, and I realize it gets harder, and I thank you all. Congrats again to Derek on a well-played game. This tournament was nuts. The most important thing to me was I got to spend time with a lot of people that I've come to know online and through tournaments - doing good is just a bonus. Manyo, all 4 Vogts, Derek, Diaz, Ones, Grip, Isaac(disasta) Mort, Lou, Gats, Brud, SirTed, Stewart, the Madison crew(all of em), Dave F'n Murray(!), Odell, Toolie, the list goes on and on, and I apologize if I didn't say your name, the list is just endless. Some of my highlights: - Seeing my close friend make his first trip to Madison after only having played me pretty much exclusively for 2 months winning 3 games and making it to the losers final in his group, going 3-2 on the day. Congrats dude! - The Elite 8. All of it. Just Tecmo at its finest. The atmosphere just cannot be topped. - The final game. Congrats again to Derek! The most fun I've had in a long time - Ohio crew, you know who you are. Thanks. - Plaza. - Perkins. - Friday night Tecmo, both at the hotel, and the BB. - Watching MattyV chug a bottle I gave him that had Everclear in it Friday night without his knowledge(Let me tell you what's in it next time before you drink it ) - Meeting everyone that I possibly could. My one lowlight: - Down 10-7 mid 3rd in my 2nd group game, I select FG instead of punt from my own 10.(Probably due to the habit of scrolling past Playbook online to Change, no playbook hack on console...) Down 10 after the quick TD, I manage to take the lead late via 2 TDs sandwiched around a safety. A JJ to Sterling and a run 3 is stuffed by drones at the gun. Never doing that again. Once again, this tournament wouldn't be what it is without the Madison crew, Dave, and everyone else who helps behind the scenes. I thank you very much, and hope there will be a TecmoXII.
