Ever wanted to play against a friend with randomly selected "even" teams. This rom is for you. You can set a cap limit as well as how close you want the computer to come to that cap. I believe the positional values follow the values shown in the position values unless i made a typo. INSTRUCTIONS: SET THE CAP AND TOLERANCE 1. Press start on the title screen which will bring you the above screen shots. 2. Adjust the cap or cap tolerance by pressing left or right on the d-pad. GET THE RANDOM TEAMS 3. Once you are ready press the start button. Press the A button and then the B button. The game uses the presses to determine the random number generator seed value. P2 CHOOSES HIS TEAM 4. Player 2 presses left or right on his controller to choose which team he wants. He then presses the A button to choose his team Player 1 thus automatically get the other team. If you want to re-roll you can press the B button. SET YOU_STARTERS AND PLAYBOOKS 5. Player 1 will get a chance to set his starters and then his playbooks. Then player 2 will get to set his starters and playbooks. You press B at each screen when you are finished. PLAY THE GAME 6. The game will play in PRO-BOWL mode. I have fixed a bug and all players will now start the game in average condition. TO-DO: 1. Have a tapmeter version 2. Have the p1 and p2 caps be different so you can play a handicap match. 3. Add the hack that lets you check all your players and conditions by pressing left and right on a single player.

The game is now available and so is the 7th annual "Preview Magazine" to the game. Madden ratings were used once again to rate every player. Here's a list of hacks and hack authors used to help create this: -- 32-team expansion rom (cx_rom, Maynard, Knobbe, others) -- helmets, field colors (keithisgood) -- COM looks for open receivers (jstout) -- COM Ultra Logic to play better defense (jstout) -- moving & dynamic grapples (bruddog) -- MAN vs. MAN popcorning (jstout) -- sort receiving leaders by yards (jstout) -- more accurate attribute labels, like “Acceleration” (Tecmonster) -- kicking arrow speed & range to make FG’s easier (Tecmonster) -- COM minimum kickoff distance (bruddog) -- increase kickoff ball speed (maynard, bodom) -- increase shotgun snap speed (jstout) -- tougher to block FG’s by adding personal protectors (Tecmonster) -- increase QB fumble rate (jstout) -- decrease diving animation time slightly (xplozv) -- decrease handoff animation time (xplozv) -- COM “juice” edited (by Tecmonster) -- PA affects “catchability/interceptability” of the pass (jstout) -- set kick returner farther back (bodom) -- Ball Control ratios edited so BC means more (by Tecmonster) -- static schedules from week to week (bruddog) -- Quickness changed to Coverage (jstout) -- kick returners use their actual attributes (konforce, jstout) -- stats screen at halftime (xplozv) -- corrected playoff bracket (pambazos) -- MAN-controlled QB rollouts on the rollout plays (Tecmonster) -- LB’s moved farther back from line of scrimmage (Tecmonster) -- Run & Shoot QB’s almost never scramble (Tecmonster) -- “heavy pass” teams don’t pass quite as much (Tecmonster) -- PLAYBOOKS (I have drastically changed and re-organized the playbooks to make them more useful, logical, balanced, and modern), including: (a) new plays, like the Shotgun Shovel, Shotgun Zone Read RB R, Shotgun Zone Read QB L (with QB HP boost), Shotgun RB Draw, Shotgun Zone Read Red Sea (pass), Shotgun Zone Read X Fly (pass), Shotgun Zone Read RB Flat (pass), Pro Set Quick Pitch L, Pro Set Quick Pitch R, Pro Set Zone Pitch R, 1back Offtackle R, 1back Pitch R, 1back Pitch L, Run and Shoot Fire (pass), Shotgun XZ Cross, 1back Flare C, Pro Z Deep Post; (b) improved blocking schemes for many run plays; (c) some receiving routes for existing plays improved; (d) some receiving routes added, like for Oneback Flare A; -- COM avoids sacks much better + faster COM rollouts (Tecmonster) -- shorter onside kicks (xplozv) -- COM RB reacts to the defense sooner after handoff (Tecmonster) -- smarter OL pass blocking (xplozv) -- receiver jump/dive based on REC rating (xplozv) -- defender jump/dive based on COV rating (xplozv) -- team rosters, jersey #’s, faces (Tecmonster) -- minimum COM punts @ 50% meter (bruddog) -- QB’s Avoid Pass Block rating is more important (low APB QB’s are bad news, notable increase in passes blocked) -- moving grapples turbocharged (i.e. bruddog’s version sped up) -- automated and accurate sim ratings (Tecmonster) If you decide to make ANY edits to this game within TSBToolSupreme, then you'll very likely need to repair the rom afterwards because that program will break part of the moving grapple code and the game will glitch. So, here's what you do: I used the Translhextion hex editor to create a file, named x3ffc0, and have included that with the rom here. I recommend saving this file to your Desktop. How you apply this file: open up your rom in Translhextion and jump to offset x3ffc0 (by clicking Offset > Jump To > then enter x3ffc0 in the field). Highlight (by dragging on) that byte + the next 48 bytes (49 bytes total), then: 1) go to Selection and click "Fill Selection with..." 2) in the pop-up box, select "File" from the dropdown box after "Fill selection with" 3) click "Browse" and find your file (preferably on your Desktop) and select it 4) click "OK" 5) Go to "File" and save your rom. This should fix the problem. Every time you edit your rom with TSBToolSupreme though, you're going to have to follow these steps directly afterwards. Files available: (1) Tecmonster's Tecmo Super Bowl 2020 game file (2) Tecomonster’s TSB 2020 Preview Magazine (3) x3ffc0 repair file. If you use this rom as a basis for a fantasy league like I do and you want the draft package, which lists players by salary, you can download it from the front page of our league’s website: renotecmoleague.weebly.com.

This is a custom hack of the original KGB SNES game, but with all-time legends on every team's roster! I tried to include a bit of every championship era a team had on each roster, spanning all 98 seasons in MLB's live-ball era from 1920-2018. ROSTER STRUCTURES I also kept the game's basic structure fundamentals for rosters. So every team has 5 starting pitchers, 5 relievers, 8 (or 9 in the AL) starting position players and 7 (or 6 in the AL) bench position players. I also stayed true to the original's roster makeup so that every bench has a catcher, 3 infielders and 3 outfielders -- except in the AL, where the DH's natural position dictates the remaining bench positions (example - David Ortiz's natural position was 1B, so the Red Sox only have 2 IFs on the bench). Generally, a player appears on the team he played his best seasons for. But there are some exceptions in order to get as many deserving players in the game as I could (example - Mike Piazza had his best seasons with the Dodgers from '93-'97, but he is the Mets' starting catcher in this game). Also, I made a rule that no player can appear more than once in the game. So you will not see Barry Bonds on the Pirates and the Giants or Frank Robinson on the Reds and the Orioles. PLAYER STATS Player's stats are based on their 5 peak seasons of their career, regardless of the team they played for. For example, Frank Robinson's AVG. is his 5 best career batting averages averaged out; his HR total is his 5 peak home run seasons averaged; and his RBI total is his 5 peak RBI seasons averaged. The same basic rules apply to pitchers as well for their ERA, Wins, Losses and Saves. Also, in order to really see every player on an equal playing field the 5-year peak season stats are pro-rated. So for instance, if you look at Tony Gwynn's stats in the game, those are his 5-year peak numbers pro-rated to 500 ABs. All position players' stats are pro-rated to 500 ABs. All starting pitchers' stats are pro-rated to 36 GS. And all relievers' stats are pro-rated to 70 G. This allows you to look at the players on even ground, so a player who may have usually had 720 plate appearances won't have bloated stats over a guy who may have only normally had 500 plate appearances during his 5-year peak. PLAYER RATINGS/SKILLS Player's skill ratings also had a specific system I used. Using players' 5-year peak season numbers and pro-rated to 500 AB/36 GS/70 G, here were the ranking systems I used for each skill rating: HITTERS BAT uses the hitter's batting average in their 5-yr peak. Below is the system I used: (I didn't show 1-4 since there not any players rated that low) POW uses the hitter's home runs in their 5-yr peak and pro-rated to 500 AB. Below is the system I used: SPD uses the hitter's Stolen Base attempts + 3Bs in their 5-yr peak pro-rated to 500 AB. DEF uses the hitter's fielding percentage as well as DRS (Defensive Runs Saved). For outfielders, I also took into account their assists. For catchers, their CS% was also used. If a player received a GG they more than usually received a 9. Players with multiple Gold Gloves almost always received a 10 DEF rating. However, there are a few players who had great defense (9 or 10) that never won a GG. So that is always a good indicator of how well a player's defense is. PITCHERS SPD uses the pitcher's SO/9 innings pitched in their 5-yr peak. CON uses the pitcher's WHIP as well as FIP in their 5-yr peak. FAT uses the starting pitcher's innings pitched per games started in their 5-yr peak and a reliever's innings pitched per games played. PLAYER'S PHYSICAL APPEARANCES I tried to be as faithful as I could to all player's physical appearances. Whether that was physical stature and physique, batting stances, hair length and color, facial hair or skin tones. I think I did a decent job and hope you feel like the players match their real-life counterparts as much as this game allows. If anybody notices a mistake or something that may need to be fixed, please let me know! I will fix it and re-upload an updated version. Please leave any feedback, criticism, suggestions or comments on here! I'd love to know what anybody else thinks that downloads and plays this. Also, I have a '98 expansion edition I will also upload very soon. ENJOY!!!! Ken Griffey Jr. All-Time Edition.smc

VERSION 3.5 Here is a collection of 1970-1994 Tecmo Super Bowl roms. It is by no means perfect or final, but I feel it's as good as I like it to be for now. I would like to thank all the guys at Tecmo Bowl.org., because it was all their hardwork that allowed me to make these roms in the first place. In order to edit the players in a way that would reflect the seasons that the roms were designed for, and allow the game to feel and play a lot like the original, I had to assign player ratings that were similar to each and every player in the classic NES Tecmo Super Bowl. In other words, I had assigned the fastest running back (based on most yards from scrimmage, mind you) with the only 75 maximum speed rating, that in my opinion had been erroneously given to Bo Jackson. If anyone deserved a rating like that (I think nobody does, really), it's Thurman Thomas. He had a monster three or four years going, if you were to take into account of what he did on the field and where his team ended up in those years. But I digress. Although offensive players were a lot easier to rate, I found that offensive linemen and defensive skilled position players weren't and that a lack of info made them almost impossible. I can sort of live with that, though. If it wasn't for the internet, and Pro Football Reference.Com for that matter, it would have been impossible to edit any. I was at least able to edit the all pros for those years, making them the best at their positions. The basic formula I had to come up with when assigning player ratings had to be based on participation and production, not on popularity. Having said that, I had to be fair to all the players who excelled in seasons where their peers were either absent due to injury or failed to outplay their teammates. Keep in mind that some productive offensive players had to be replaced with Kick and Punt returners - with the lack of space on the roster, I tried to make the depth charts as accurate as I possibly could. (List of Edits) 1970-1975 roms had to be a 26 team league. I had to omit Tampa Bay and Seattle, but was unable to remove their spots in Team Rankings like I wanted. I was able to at least remove their appearance in the game, so if you disregard their missing helmets it shouldn't affect the game's experience. Team rosters and depth charts, as well as pro bowl teams, are all accurately edited to reflect their corresponding seasons. At least 99% of the players will have the correct name spelling, jersey number, for the most part his face image, as well as skin color. Accurate team city names. Accurate home and away game schedules and their actual dates. Helmet colors and logo designs, as well as uniforms, were all redone to be based on each year they were used. All playbooks were edited to somewhat match the team's yearly offense, but some liberties were taken to make use of every play that's available in the game. (game rules) 1970-77 roms were juiced a bit. Week 1 games will play like Week 3 if the player's team had been 2-0 in the original TSB. This was done so that a 14-0 win/loss season will play like a 16-0 win/loss season when entering the playoffs. 1970-71: hash marks are spread out (NCAA still uses this method) 1970-1973: 40 yard kick off position - Tecmo logos are located there, too; front field goal posts (imagine them as being transparent when players stand on them, because I do. - field goal kicking length was increased to make up for closer field goal posts; ball will be placed at the opponent's 20 yard line after any missed field goals; no overtime in man games, as well as auto skipped games. Note: the overtime hack doesn't work as good as I would have liked it to - playoff games will end up in ties, but a random winner is decided by the computer anyway, allowing one of the teams to move on to the next round. This only applies to skipped games - "man" games will still go into overtime during the playoffs. 8 team playoff schedule format. 14 game schedule. 1974-1977: 8 team playoff schedule format. 14 game schedule. 1978-1989: 10 team playoff schedule format. 1982: short season rom contains the 12 team playoff schedule format, as I wasn't able to implement a 16 team playoff format...not sure if it's even possible to do this, anyway. 1994: 30 yard kick off position - Tecmo logos are located there, too. No two point conversion hack. Maybe one day someone will figure this out and I'll add it later. I hope. Well, I hope you enjoy the roms. Cheers.

This is basically a ratings and roster overhaul of the official site rom. 1. LILB's are often DB's due to the fact that nickel defense is the prevalent formation in the NFL these days 2. REC and PC boosted slightly from Original rom levels given the effectiveness of passing. 3. Ball control much higher than normal levels. The RE in a 4-3 defense was placed at ROLB since that seems like the most natural position Pro football focus was the main source for these ratings. Draft slot and scouting reports used for rookies.

Based off the NBA Basketball 2018 game hack, so it's primarily a roster update only (as of 05/31/2019). This is a fully functional game, but I consider it a beta/prototype because: *missing 3 teams--including the Toronto Raptors! (sorry, I'm not currently fluent in ROM hacking enough to extend this game from 27 teams to 30 teams) *missing 2 conferences (same; don't know how to hack this yet) *updated player stats, but don't fully understand the player editor at the moment (though I have a good feel for it)

This is the '98 expansion edition of my All-Time Greats hacked ROM of KGB. It plays and was designed to be exactly the same as the regular version and player ratings and stats also use the same system I used for the regular All-Time Greats edition. **A few special things to note** I wanted Arizona and Tampa Bay to have similar uniform looks to what they have in real life. But until I learn how to hex edit, we are forced to use the game's default designs. Because of those limitations, I ended up replacing the Houston Astros with the Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays and the Texas Rangers with the Arizona Diamondbacks. So while the stadiums and uniform looks of those 2 teams are semi-accurate or as close to what they can be or what they should be - obviously the Rays are in NL and the Diamondbacks are in the AL in my version of the game. For exhibition play, this won't be an issue since you can simply turn on or off the DH rule. But for season play, the Rays will be DH-less and playing against NL teams and the D-Backs will have a DH and be battling AL teams. But at least the teams are present and their all-time rosters can be played with. Of course since the original game also only enables you to pick from 28 teams, this also means this '98 Expansion Edition won't allow you to play the Astros or Rangers vs the Rays or D-Backs. I would also love to replace the Houston and Texas logos at some point with Arizona and TB's so they will be accurate. As well as also attempt to change the team names on the gameplay screens and standings screens so they will be accurate as well. I need to learn how to edit with the hex editors and SNES palettes and need help with that though. So that would be included in a later update of this ROM if and when I am able to figure that stuff out. As always, any feedback, criticism or suggestions is extremely welcome! ENJOY!!! And "Play Ball!"

This is a remastered edition of Tecmo NBA Basketball 2018 for NES emulators that I released over a year ago. To go along with updated team logos, one of the huge changes is the update to team simdata. What this means is that the Warriors will play like Warriors, the Knicks will play like a dumpster fire, the Bulls don't play with the ghost of Michael Jordan twenty-five years later, etc. Enjoy!

By popular demand, I present Bad News Baseball 2017. All of the rosters, statistics, ratings, and one team's uniform colors have been updated from the original NES game. The twelve teams included are: San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Oakland Athletics, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, and Toronto Blue Jays. All of the teams from the original game carried over to this updated version, except for the New York Mets who were changed to the Yankees. The information found in a handful of forum threads made this update. What wasn't available in the forums, through trial and error I stumbled through and figured out. When comparing this to the original version of Bad News Baseball, this game does seem to provide a lot of offense. Keeping the opposing team in single digit runs is a great feat. My explanation for this that Bad News Baseball is a game played on the field by children (likely Little Leaguers). Bad News Baseball 2017 replaces those children with grown-up Major League men. When you put adults on a Little League field, most certainly balls are going to fly out of the ballpark. Enjoy!

Here is a new-and-improved update to the All-Time Edition I did last year for the first Griffey on SNES. Differences from this version and the last are pretty distinct. I corrected a fwe things, revised some lineups and rosters as well as rating the players differently so it would make a more evenly balanced game. For my original release I used a player's 5 best career years, regardless of the team and regardless if the seasons were not in a row. While this may be more fun I suppose since players will be a lot better, it also made the game a little less balanced. So, for this release, I decided to take a player's 7 best seasons. Also, the 7 seasons had to be consecutive (except if they missed significant time due to injury or a suspension or military service) AND they had to be seasons from which the player played on the team he is represented on in the game. This helped make things a lot more balanced as well as making it a whole lot easier for me to rate the players. I also changed how I rated a player on their defense. I used a combination of Defensive Runs Saved, FLD%, Assists, dWAR, Caught Stealing % and Zone Ratings as well as taking Gold Gloves into account. This definitely lowered a lot of fielder ratings across the board and I think it's much more accurate. One good example of how this changed player ratings would be Jeter on the Yankees. His DEF rating is now a more realistic 7 since I now took into account his horrible range factor this time. Overall, I am a lot more happy with this version than the previous one and hopefully you are, too! I guess version 1.0 is more extreme, so you have a lot more guys rated 9 or 10 where as this one has far less players rated as highly. I included both the regular version here as well as the '98 expansion version, which replaces 2 teams so you can play as Tampa and Arizona if you want. (See the original v1.0 thread for details on that). Enjoy! Feel free to give any criticism or feedback and if you notice any mistakes. I had Harmon Killebrew as a Lefty in v1.0, but thanks to someone on here that pointed this error out, he is now a Righty like he should be.

Now, 23 years after TSB made 8-Bit legends of Bo Jackson and Lawrence Taylor, TecmoBowl.org proudly announces the release of Tecmo Super Bowl 2015. This site's 8th yearly iteration updates Tecmo's NES classic with up-to-date rosters, graphics, schedules and play books for all 32 NFL squads. Additionally, the 4-3 defense has been added for teams who run this base defense. Playable on multiple platforms and operating systems via NES emulation software, Tecmo Super Bowl 2015 brings Nintendo's bone-crunching classic to today's computers and handheld devices. Will offenses fear Patrick Peterson like they feared Rod Woodson? Who is the more deadly play-caller: Peyton Manning or Joe Montana? Will Matt Schaub have a Grogan-esque ending to his career? Loaded into an NES Emulator, Tecmo Super Bowl 2015 will make legends for the next 23 years. Tecmo Super Bowl 2015 Table of Contents A. How This Works B. How To Play - PC/Mac C. The second release in the MLB17 series is finally here. This is the 2017 edition of the NES classic, R.B.I. Baseball 3. All 30 teams are represented here with rosters and starting lineups closely representing the ones used on Opening Day. I say "closely" because I took the liberties of juggling some of the lineups, due to a player being injured who would typically be in the starting lineup (i.e. Adrian Beltre, Didi Gregorious, and Steve Cishek). The third release in my MLB17 series, Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball 2017, will be released in the next 30 days (earlier if you're a Patreon.com/BaronGaming member).

    Tecmo: Best of the 90s

The "Tecmo: Best of the 90s" rom features the top 1990s team from 28 different NFL franchises. Teams included: AFC 1990 Buffalo Bills 1999 Indianapolis Colts 1992 Miami Dolphins 1996 New England Patriots 1998 New York Jets 1999 Jacksonville Jaguars 1994 Cleveland Browns 1993 Houston Oilers 1995 Pittsburgh Steelers 1998 Denver Broncos 1997 Kansas City Chiefs 1990 Los Angeles Raiders 1994 San Diego Chargers 1999 Tennessee Titans NFC 1992 Dallas Cowboys 1990 New York Giants 1992 Philadelphia Eagles 1996 Carolina Panthers 1991 Washington Redskins 1990 Chicago Bears 1991 Detroit Lions 1996 Green Bay Packers 1998 Minnesota Vikings 1999 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1998 Atlanta Falcons 1999 St. Louis Rams 1992 New Orleans Saints 1994 San Francisco 49ers Because it's an SNES rom, a few teams had to be left out. In the AFC, the Ravens were easy (they hardly existed in the 90s and never made the playoffs). You'll also note I put in the 93 Oilers AND 99 Titans. Although they are the same franchise, I felt both deserved inclusion (the 90s and Tecmo aren't complete without the ol' Run'N'Shoot Oilers) Both the Seahawks and Bengals ended up out as a result, but neither did jack diddly in the 90s. In the NFC, the Cardinals ended up out.

This RBI Baseball ROM is based on the 1986 Major League Baseball season. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/MLB/1986.shtml There are 30 teams, total. It contains all 26 MLB clubs, the American and National League All-Star teams, and two teams of Legends (featuring the likes of Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Bob Gibson, etc.). I based the player ratings on their statistics from the 1986 season. The Legends' ratings are based on their career averages, pro-rated over a 162-game season. Enjoy!

This is a version of Baseball Stars where all the of the teams could contend for a league title, as a departure from the original format where the teams had a graduated increase in talent. All the teams have had their players' stats upgraded in varying degrees with the Crushers, Ladies, Monsters, and Powers receiving the most extensive stat upgrades, while the Dreams received the fewest upgrades (only bench players Billy and Paul were upgraded).

Well. I thought that I could release this ROM right after the SB50, but don't. Finally I have the job done and it's here to share with everyone. 3 Important things: 1. THANX THANX AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH to DRUNKEN HONKEY. Thanks for all the help you gave me man, without your help, this couldn't be done. Lot of patience and this is the result. TSB3 Bible too, cause without it nothing of this could happened. 2. I'm not a graphic designer, in fact I suck like a designer, but I tried to make the best in the graphical aspect for make a good ROM. In fact much of the graphical aspect in helmets and logos were took from previous ROMs. Thanx to all the people who make the TSB3 possible. 3. This is just for fun. Everything belong to their owners. It´s just for share. Fine, let´s talk about the game itself. For celebrating the 20 Years since the release of Tecmo Super Bowl III I created this ROM. Best teams of every franchise in the LAST 20 YEARS (1996 - 2015) Players and values based in Pro Football Reference records. Playbooks adjusted to maximize the players. Formations, Defense and Offense according to real life. Rosters according to the year of each franchise better performance (There can be the same player in different teams) Schedule system goes this way; 4 divisional games, 6 conference games, 6 games with the other conference (2 games per division). This way youcan play against a lot of teams. No Texans or Browns here (A ROM with these two teams will come in a few weeks). Uniforms were chosen to bring some variety, according of course the team uniforms and alternate ones. Complete new FA and Hidden players. The NFL Records optimized for the last 20 years, so you won't see Dickerson rushing yards here. A guide will be released soon. Well that's for now I hope you enjoy the game the same way I enjoy doing this. It´s a work from a fan to fans. Please enjoy. And any feedback is welcome,

Now that the winter sports lull is almost here, I have created the ultimate Tecmo Super Bowl 1978-1993 set, including alternate roms for strike year and seasons where multiple qbs made an impact. Can you take the 86 49ers to the Super Bowl with a young Jerry Rice and no Joe? Can you steer the 84 Bears to the Super Bowl with a pair of the worst QBs to ever grace the Tecmo field? See what the 1991-1993 rosters really looked like with these roms with 100% accurate rosters. Hundreds of hours of research and development have gone into these and I hope you enjoy as much as I do. Roms include 1978 Season 1979 Season 1980 Season 1981 Season 1982 Season 1983 Season 1984 Season (2 versions) 1985 Season 1986 Season (2 versions) 1987 Season (2 versions) 1988 Season 1989 Season 1990 Season 1991 Season 1992 Season 1993 Season

This ROM is an update of the “Spring Training” edition. The rosters have been updated, and I updated the ratings to incorporate the new formula I’ve been using for the historical ROMs.The ratings are based on 2014’s statistics with a few “grandfather” exceptions (Alex Rodriguez, Prince Fielder, CC Sabathia). These players are rated on expected stats as opposed to their actual stats. They are better than .000AVG/0HR, .247AVG/3HR, and 3W-4L/5.28ERA, respectively, due to injury and suspension. The most difficult decision was whether or not to include Yu Darvish on the Rangers, even as a #4 starter due to him being out for the entire year after undergoing Tommy John surgery. Ultimately, I omitted him from the roster. When playing, don’t be afraid to dig deep into the bench. Some teams started this year with a handful of starters on the disabled list. They are on the roster, but didn’t make the opening day starting lineup. Don’t be surprised to find a 20+HR/.300+AVG player on the bench. *UPDATE* This is a slight update over the original version of the ROM that I updated at the beginning of the season. I fixed Jason Hammel's name to read "J.Hammel" instead of "C.Hammel." Also, I cleaned up the "noise" from the opening screen so now it properly reads "2015 SEASON" instead of "2013 UPDATE." (Note: This ROM is not a roster update to incorporate trade deadline trades. The next roster update will be in the 2016 edition of the ROM.)

Milking the “legends” theme once more, using TecmoTurd’s golden 30-Team RBI Editor, I’ve created a thirty-team RBI Baseball ROM based on the original ten-team NES game called Legends of RBI Baseball. In a way, this could be seen as a NES de-make of my SNES ROM, Ken Griffey Legends. Each team consists of the best players, past and present, for each Major League Baseball club.

I take back what I posted a few weeks ago. THIS is my most ambitious project to date. I took the flaming pile of digital garbage that I put out back in February (Tecmo Super Bowl 1977 – NES) and updated it with 16-bit graphics. To go along with the visual upgrade, I went through it player-by-player and updated all of the ratings, jersey numbers, skin color, and simdata. I also updated all of the team simdata so that the SKP teams during the regular season play similar to their real-life 1977 counterparts. When simulating a test season, the game correctly simulated four of the six division winners. Only the AFC East and West were incorrect, and with those, the teams in 1st and 2nd flip-flopped. I updated the schedule in the game so that it accurately reflects the 1977 season. During the player rating editing process, I found the AV scores (approximate value) on pro-football-reference.com for each of the players to be a HUGE god-send.
