  1. Hello all, Over a period of years I managed to reverse engineer the entire Tecmo Super Bowl game into 6502 assembly source code with every piece of code documented and every variable labeled. There was a potential project in the works with said code but that project looks all but dead now. Because of that I am targeting the 30 year anniversary of TSB as the date I will publicly post all of the reverse engineered source code. -Bruddog

  3. 2020 was a trying time for the world and this website unfortunately was no exception. Like most any forum/message board, TBorg was a place where you might find collaboration or conflict. Over the last few years there had been increasing conflict over in-person and/or paid entry Tecmo tournaments that seemed to provide some with the misplaced sentiment that a 20+ year old video game was some sort of fledgling e-sport to be capitalized on. This conflict unfortunately devolved to the point that litigation was brought against some long-time members, something certainly to avoid. In lieu of just closing down forever, the site is returning with a few noteworthy modifications. The site's forums will no longer be publicly viewable and the site will no longer make any effort to promote in-person and/or paid entry Tecmo tournaments. It's a hope this site will go about releasing new versions of Tecmo Super Bowl. It's a hope to take the 20+ years’ worth of information on this site and start organizing it in a more straightforward manner. It's a hope to return to the roots of the vision for this site: a site dedicated to the storage of Tecmo Super Bowl back-ups, the development of patches to update and enhance the game, and the retention of all things Tecmo Super Bowl related. It's a hope this site will be around another 20 years. Welcome back.

  4. Hello! After publishing the recent releases of Tecmo NBA Basketball & Tecmo Super NBA Basketball (for 2019-2020): https://tecmobowl.org/files/file/666-tecmo-nba-basketball-2020/ https://tecmobowl.org/files/file/667-tecmo-super-nba-basketball-2020/ I must say their editors don't appear to be as efficient as I had hoped. Let's just say completing these games became a labor of love and pure willpower after a couple of months. Anyway, can anyone out there help with the following improvements for these ROMs? 1) Update the year(s), where applicable to 2019-2020 2) Add the remaining three (3) teams: Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, and Toronto Raptors 3) Add the missing Divisions: Southwest and Southeast 4) Rename the Midwest Division to the Northwest Division 5) Reorganize the teams in alphabetical order, where applicable (e.g. Brooklyn and OKC) 6) Place the teams in their correct divisions 7) update team logos These are the immediate improvements I can think of, and I'm certain there are others as well. Also, for quick reference, I'm working with the Rabbit and Tecmo NBA Manager utilities, but they also need their own updates/fixes (more on that later). Thanks in advance!
