Wow! What a great tournament everyone! We set a new GBLAN/Edge Tecmo attendance record at 28, for a warm up tournament! Congrats to JoeyGats on his first GBLAN tournament victory! Green Majik took 2nd, and NMUFred took the D2 Championship prize home! Thanks to all of our sponsors and players for making it a great night! More coverage from Venture Wisconsin will follow in the days and weeks ahead! I'll provide a more formal recap as time permits, as the dust settles, and we return to normal life once again.

I stayed at days inn last year. Only got stabbed once. 5 stars. Jk its fine but is a shithole

Speaking of hotels if you're still looking for one. Hotel Julien like 8-bit said is just across the street. A couple blocks to the north is the Holiday Inn which is gonna be about $100-ish. Down in the Millwork District there is a brand new Marriott Town Suites which opened just a couple months ago. That's also gonna be over $100 a night likely. If you don't mind driving or getting a Lyft/Uber the Holiday Inn Express on the west side of town is nice and probably a little cheaper. The Best Western and Hampton on US 20/Dodge Street are also nice places. If you're looking for serious budget stays and looking less for quality I'd recommend the Days Inn, Super 8, Motel 6, or Baymont on US 20. All of them are right around the $50 range. They work but you get what you pay for.

Can someone make this? I have the rosters for all of these teams, except I swapped out the 1986 packers with the 2005 packers.

I will be in Iowa City friday night gaming with @RodneyPizza and @Nilvah and roll into Dubuque the morning of the tournament. I'm thinking of crashing at Hotel Julien Dubuque if anyone wants to split a room. This hotel is directly across the street from the venue and $99 plus tax / night. It's official! June 8, 2019 BMIII: Weekend at Bernie Mort

When I think about Tecmo Jam Cleveland 2019 I get so excited I have trouble breathing. It's a goal of mine to spread the Jam love as much as I can this year. At each Tecmo tourney I go to, I hope to bring a Jam TE Genesis set-up. For added flavor, my friend @Dan S and I run a challenge where we take any and all contenders. We offer our opponents a tier advantage, but if they play us straight up they can win money off of us. So far it has been fun to see the interest there is out there for Jam. Another goal I have is to do a video series on the Retro Sports Gamer channel (@allamerican1569) called NBA Jam Rules. I'll be doing play-throughs of NBA Jam and NBA Jam TE on both SNES and GEN. I'll be offering tips and promoting the Jam tourneys this year -- Tecmo Jam Cleveland and Tecmo XV in New York. @TecmoClevelandif you need any help spreading the word, let me know.
