  5. Deuces! @duecethasa1nt it's dueces until CFT season Deuce! Let's start with a high impact 22 from both seasons of CFT so far. Johnny Bailey helped @invader_star64's in season 1 with 420 rushing yards in the playoffs, including a 213 yard game, and goes back home to Chi-Town to play for @boogiewithstu's in season duece. Here are the duece dueces who have yet to be selected in the CFT draft as of season deuce. Now in season 1, Erik McMillan had 3 picks in the regular season then 4 picks in the playoffs for Invader's Hawks! Next up... We got the fellas making a debut in CFT season Deuce. Mark Lee will play for @SirTed's in season duece. Nesby will be hittin for @DT.'s in season deuce. One more guy making his debut in season deuce we will save for last... There are a couple of 22's playing in their second season of CFT in season deuce... Fenerty's first name is mispelled in Tecmo Super Bowl, he is missing the 2nd L. "Gill the Thrill" as he is known did some damage in the CFT for the Toronto Argonauts before become a Saints mainstay. In season 1 Gill suffered through a winless season for JayMC's , but here's hoping we get him at least one win in season deuce for my . Also playing in his 2nd season of CFT, Tim McKyer is returning to @Tick's for another season in the Queen City. Finally... This man needs no introduction here. He got drafted by @gripsmoke's in season duece, a proposition that has other CFT owners "Deucin" in their pants at the prospect of having to defend THAT!

  6. Pizza's fine from what I remember, They do a few weird menu items like hotdish. I work about a block from there so I need to make a mental note to keep my clothes on for the whole tourney. Working on getting some Segathon bros to come, but they will probably just watch. They still tell stories of watching the Madison guys changing out their lineup so fast at a Tomzack Bowl that they are scared to pick up a controller now. Sammie let me know if you want me to bring a few segas for some Jam/NHL side games. Also have this firepro wresting for PS2 that resembles the old wreslefest arcade game. Has all the old WWF guys on it. Think you can do 8 guys playing at once.

  7. Couldn’t have said it any better myself weapon. i can only go by personal experience so here goes. Tecmo Cleveland was my first tecmo tourney ever and I don’t think I could have started at a better event. The majority of the group of players and people I had met that day were great. No one that I came across was a douche bag and all seemed willing to help others out with the rules/playing the game under the tourney rules. So even if you’re a newcomer you’re met with open arms in this community of gamers. I always find it amazing that these games like tecmo (ice hockey, mk2, street fighter, ken Griffey, etc) all manage to garner a good crowd of people and good times all because of the fond memories we had playing it growing up. Ultimateweapon is 100% right on tom, couldn’t have said it better myself... the guy is a trooper and is the main reason for this event and how great it is. As a noob going into last years event I thought it was excellently run and was done so in a organized manner. The venue was great, the sponsors were fantastic, the t-shirt I got with my buy in is still in my wardrobe rotation (fashionable yet still a shameless plug) The tournament felt like it zoomed by, and considering there were 63 contenders and mort to deal with, I’d say tom did a hell of a job. Like I said he’s a trooper. He does a hell of a job spreading himself out to everyone with questions/comments/concerns throughout the tourney. So in short, tecmo Cleveland is like the tony danza of tecmo tourneys a it’s garbage picking, field goal kicking, close to Philadelphia phenemon..... sadly that is the best anology I can come up with at the time, since there are no good Cleveland football movies (if you say draft day we will fight)

  12. Just wanted to say thanks for updating this thread - counting down with the jersey numbers of players in Tecmo is an awesome idea. Considering the number of views this thread has I'm sure many others enjoy reading this every time they visit the forums. I wish I lived closer and could participate in this league - I ran a similar setup a few years back for a one day tournament where everyone built teams with a salary cap (Stone Age Gamer Franchise Bowl) but a draft and full season, playoffs, etc. is definitely next level stuff!
