Personal highlights: LPGE as a whole was ridiculous and huge. Meeting new guys and seeing my brothers in Tecmo again after Madison. Cosplayers. Playing SFII in a VirtualBoy vs Regulator. Free Play Barcade on Friday night. Finding an In N Out and sharing Reg's, Ones' and Gats' first Double Double Animal Style with them. Introducing Gats to Mexican food. This meat is so good it doesn't even need ranch! Witnessing a Gats bowel movement so foul that I had to go the hotel lobby for 10 minutes. Game 1 of the finals had a ridiculous ending. Wow. This is why I do what I do. Legit esports moment there. Gatsisms are now a thing. This dude is so innocent it is hilarious. I love that he speaks his mind with no perceived judgement. It is awesome. True honesty. Receiving texts from Mort, Lou, JimSocks & Diaz all talking shiz and Mort dancing in a panther suit head. Great. Freaking. Weekend. Love you guys. Love each other. Lift your fellow man up.

Tecmo Dallas I was a huge success! Thanks to everyone that came out! Let's Play Gaming Expo was incredible. While we were the sidecar event, it was amazing to be in the midst of 5,000 people, 1,100 of which were gamers there from all of the world to compete. We sold out at our capped 32 and had a few no shows, but we also had notables from the local scene show up and bring it. Tecmo "God" Lee took Suicide King to the ropes, with SK squeaking out a last minute FG. Will C. (from Pan Handle Tecmo, this was a "championship" back in the day. Maybe @Knobbe can help me find the site.) hung with Regulator for 3.5 quarters in a tied game. Our final 8 featured: @joeygats, @regulator088, Ashman, Big Hock, @Nos, @Neerrm, @duecethasa1nt & @suicideking81 . We had a TMXIII finals rematch with Regulator & Gats going head to head in a final round best of 3. They provided 3 awesome games, game 1 especially, with Regulator coming out on top. (Sober Regulator is freaking scary, FYI.) Thanks to @suicideking81 for bringing his setup so we could have a stream. If we do Tecmo Dallas again, there will be marked improvements in a lot of ways. We'll keep ya'll updated as always.

You gotta try the sex panther suit head. Just be careful not to let it drive you wild. If I kept it on any longer I would be in jail.

I was down 20-7 (he scored 3 TDs but I blocked one of his PATs) in the 4th. He went up 20-7 early in the 4th. I was able to get a quick score with a desperation JJ on the first play after he kicked off to me, 20-14 with approx 3:30 left on the clock. He gets ball and is faced with a 4th and 3 at his own 20 yard line and converts. A few plays later while moving close to midfield he FUMBLES!!! I recover around his 40 hardline with approx. 1 minute left. I was able to get in a few good runs to get inside the 10. Next play I was able to hit an WR open in the middle if the end zone, PAT is good 21-20 with 10 seconds left. I kick off and he's tackled quickly to end the game. I was extremely lucky to win the game. Tecmo "God" Lee blew the other guys he played out of the water, (he didnt face Gats who was in our group). I'm not sure if he allowed any points to anyone else. He's a solid player who can tap, he beat me in every grapple. Hope he continues to attend Tecmo tournaments in the future.

We'll be posting a recap of the event with brackets, videos and more to follow; but I just wanted to drop a line real quick to say "thank you" to everyone that came out and hopefully had a great time at Tecmo Cleveland. Overall, we had a total of 64 people register in total, which I think was incredible. I'd love to get your feedback and what you'd like to see more of next year as well. Thank you all in advance and congrats to @mort1237 (Champion), Panda (Matt Diaz, Runner-up), and Cleveland Force (Jason Wolf, Third-place). Hope to see you all and more next year in Cleveland! Also Channel 19 News came again during the event and had the following on the news in the evening and web here: http://www.cleveland19.com/story/36073730/tecmo-bowl-tournament-held-in-avon-lake Best. The Unlucky 13 as the title implies are the 13 teams that to this day have yet to win a Super Bowl--four of which have never even played in the Super Bowl. As a reference, here are the Unlucky 13: Arizona Cardinals Atlanta Falcons Buffalo Bills Carolina Panthers Cincinnati Bengals Cleveland Browns Detroit Lions Houston Texans Jacksonville Jaguars Los Angeles Chargers Minnesota Vikings Philadelphia Eagles Tennessee Titans And of these 13 teams with the most unfortunate of fates, which of them will be the first to hoist the Lombardi Trophy? Me, personally? I'm gonna be bold on this one and select.... The Tennessee Titans 2016 saw the Titans make some incredible strides, having defeated the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs--all playoff teams--as well as toppling the defending Super Bowl champion Broncos. I think should the Patriots go south within a year or two, either the Titans or the Raiders will step up and reach the Super Bowl. Some would also include the Steelers too--who may be looking at their last shot at cementing a Super Bowl dynasty of their very own (only the Giants also have a realistic shot at a Super Bowl dynasty) before Big Ben retires. So perhaps give the Titans a year or two--or maybe they'll just have a Cinderella story for the ages this year--and maybe we'll see them hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at last. The Houston Texans are pretty close as well, though I think their championship window is shrinking. If they can't get any consistent quarterback play, and they don't get it done this year, they might not be able to get it done at all. As for the NFC, I'm struggling to figure out who out of that pool could possibly win their first Lombardi Trophy either this year or in the near future because the NFC doesn't have a consistent champion, especially not among them. Maybe the Panthers? Some would say the Falcons as well, but given the way that they lost the Super Bowl last time, I'm gonna say they wind up missing the playoffs instead. Maybe the Eagles, but I'm seeing a more Peyton Manning-type QB in Carson Wentz rather than a Big Ben or Tom Brady-type of career. At least he has a stellar defense behind him. But I have to theorize that for as long as the Eagle fanbase continues to be so unabashedly unhinged, the Eagles will continue to suffer. And the Arizona Cardinals, I'm gonna predict, will have their very last shot at Super Bowl glory this year. If they don't get it done, both Carson Palmer and/or Larry Fitzgerald will retire, and the Cardinals will enter the bargain basement for quite a long time. So what do you guys think? Or is there an optimistic Cleveland Browns fan that have high hopes that a Super Bowl dynasty might be on the horizon? No mocking. But please explain why and discuss in a civil manner.

    Updating Tecmo Faces

I think I'd like to write an app or an add-on to TSBTool that edits the faces. But I not sure how to render the tiles based on the ROM data. Looks like 64 bytes per Tile. 8-bits per pixel. How do I know what color to render a given pixel? Where to get the color table for a Tile in the ROM? Any other good Tile info?
