bruddog
Laptops in general cause problems because of the video cards used or something. Usually if you can even get nesticle to run there is massive screen refresh on laptops.

mikus
So does Nesticle not work on Vista? I am not using a laptop but I get the same error message as the guy above.
TomTupa
I am wondering about this also. Are we going to have to find another emulator soon? No matter how much we might rather not, everyone will eventually be using vista.
MrBeef
why even use Vista as your OS. my sister does nothing but complain about it and wushes she had gotten Xp for her new puter. Vista blows huge chunks.
kingsoby1
I think DOSBox might be a good solution. I used to use it for old DOS-based PC games that couldn't be run on XP.Actually, now that I think about it, you'd probably be able to play nesticle on an intel-based mac by using a VM emu, running DOSBox, and then running nesticle.Although, using DOSBox would require you to use a DOS version of nesticle, and I have no idea if it would work online, especially versus people using the windows version (0.42). DOSBox definitely supports online play from what I've read (direct IP), so it's just a matter of whether or not the two version mix, or if version x.xx works online at all.
