MrBeef
Working on a rom and wish to use the SIm Editor. Can someone give me an explaination about the ratings or do we have a thread or somewhere an indepth view file for it? I know someone has posted things for the Tsb Manager which is great but need help with the sim editor now.I mean this is what is listed and it does make sense.so ifyou were to give Warren Moon "15" rushing ability and "0" pocket,he'd rack up a lot of yards. Similarily, if you were to give thePatriots an overall offensive and defensive team rating of "15",then they would end up with an excellent record. So is '15' the max for each category? Thx! BAD_AL
0-15 are valid values for the offensive player sim attributes (because 1 nibble is used to store the data).0-255 are valid values for the Defensive player sim attributes (because 1 byte is used to store the data). The Sum of a team's defensive player 'sim pass rush' ability should equal 255.The Sum of a team's defensive player 'sim cover' ability should equal 255.0-15 are valid values for a teams 'Sim Offense' attribute.0-15 are valid values for a teams 'Sim Defense' attribute. BO FB Offtackle Left
click Search at the top of this website. Type "tsbsim" in the box. Good luck To answer some of your specific questions, 15 is the max on offense. However, the playbook also has a large impact on stats. A QB without a run play will get very little rushing yards, regardless of the sim rating you give him. A QB with a run play will probably rack up a few hundred yards with a Rush value of 0. Pocket might be the only sim stat that affects in game play, rather than simmed stats. I don't think it has much effect on the simmed stats, but when you play the CPU it determines how long the QB will stay in the pocket before scrambling.
