And also while I was sitting aroung trying to think of players still in the league I had a "holy $#!^" moment and realized that the head coaches of both my college and hometown team were players in TSB. Was he on the game?Scott Player's rookie year was '98, so he was 7 years too late for being in Tecmo Super Bowl.However, he's somewhat famous for being the last player to wear the single-bar facemask in the NFL, which was banned (or should I say, "barred"? LOL!) from use in 2004, for safety reasons. He was allowed to wear it after the ban due to a grandfather clause.I've always liked how he has the most generic last name possible for an athlete.
