What controller to use? Can I play online with Nestopia?

What controller should I get to play TSB? I have a microsoft sidewinder but I cant get it to work. Maybe it's broke. Also, I tried to use Nesticle on windows XP, and got a black screen and had to reboot my machine. I downloaded nestopia and it works fine. Can I still play online with nestopia, or do I need to figure out Nesticle? Thanks

if you have norton anti-virus that may be blocking nesticle. You just have to disable it before you play.

yeah nesticle does screwy things sometimes. I'm thinking of switching to something else. I never heard of nestopia, does it work well?

nestopia works good, but i havent tried to play online with anyone. its been like 12 years since ive played, i cant even remember what plays i used to run, lol.

I got nesticle to work. But I must say that Nestopia works better on my machine.

Without a doubt, Nestopia is one of the better emulators and one of my favorites. Nesticle is very old and at least a dozen emulators are truly better than it. However, Nesticle has the only constant working online play. The others desync very often and only VirtuaNes has shown anything even remotely usable at this point.

Hey. would anyone be interested in trying an online game with Nestopia?. It works better in my machine than Nesticle (Turning the graphics controller off everytime I want to play online is a pain in the ass).
