Weather question- Etsy purchase of Decades TSB 2000-2009.

Grew up loving TSB and in the past few years got back into it.  Was really surprised to find so many enthusiasts but also cartridges available on Etsy.

 

One feature that seems cool is you can turn the weather setting on or off.  I set to on however after several games I’ve yet to see any weather.  I’ve purposely picked late season games and teams in bad weather regions.

 

Does anyone know info about the algorithm that chooses when, how often rain or snow occurs.  
 

I’m curious if I’m missing a step or have a faulty product.

The weather setting doesn't do anything.

 

Someone just grabbed a bunch of roms off this site or somewhere else and plopped them onto a cart....
