"Fast" Version for 2023 season?

Hello,

 

I've been getting the new version of this game for several years now, and have preferred in the past to get the actual NES cart from somewhere. However, I couldn't find someone doing this last year so I finally went the ROM route and threw it on my NES classic ("2023" in Tecmo Bowl's terms).

 

However, after going back to the cart I have from "2022," I realized I had a different version than what I downloaded that I'm trying to find for this season. In that 2022 cart version I have, the game played at a much faster pace. I also know this is not because it's on the cart vs. the ROM, as other cart versions I have are not this fast either.

 

Does anyone know what or who's version this "fast" one would be, and where to get it?

I have since found a notation that is is a version by "Tecmonster," who doesn't look like he is making one anymore.

 

Anyone have any idea why the gameplay of his version runs so much faster?! Buehler?!
