I'm currently learning how to edit Tecmo Superbowl 3 Snes. What I would like to do is recreate the 1995 playoffs. Reading the TSB Bible I can find the location of the playoff grid in the Rom, but unable to manipulate the teams.

I think the actual teams and their placement would be located in the save file, not the Rom.

Can anyone point me in a direction of how to place teams in the correct seeding?
