This has been around forever but the old link on emuware is dead. (do people remember emuware anymore?)

Knobbe, what version of Windows does this run on?  Windows 10 doesn't seem to work well with it.

It probably was written for Win 95/98.

TBH I've barely ever used it.  I would try running it in compatibility mode and see if you get better results

I don't think this has ever worked TBH. Oh well, its a great idea, too bad it can't get incorporated into TSB Tool.

We used this recently, however there are some helmets (CLE for instance) that if you mess with it, it messes with much more than just CLE. Pretty sure both I and @JJT were using WIN 10 machines

Yeah, you gotta be careful editing some tile sets, as we're pretty sure there are a few teams that share tiles. The helmet backgrounds are definitely shared. A HUGE issue that @kamphuna8 and I ran into with this tool was changing the pointers for helmet designs in the ROM (e.g. moving one team's set of tiles over to another team). Once you do this the helmet editor becomes useless (it will mess with the layout of face masks and break all helmets across the board).

 

It's a pretty useful application, but be prepared for it to crash A LOT. One of its best uses is to locate where tiles are stored in the ROM for each team's helmet.
