Bloomington Tecmo returns again for it's 17th year. This year is another Star Wars themed event showing love to the Minnesota Vikings Hershel Walker. This year's event is titled BLONO TECMO THE RISE OF WALKER.

Now in years past Bloomington Tecmo has focused more on our event being a huge party. This year we are not necessarily changing all of that, but we are wanting it to be more of a family atmosphere. This is why this year we have teamed up with Pheasant Lanes to provide this experience. Pheasant Lanes will be catering our Lunch and dinner to all paying parties. Pheasant Lanes also offers bowling, an arcade, and it's newest attraction the hologate virtual reality. Kids are welcome at this year's event and we will even have a separate kids 12 and under Tecmo tournament.  For the adults Pheasant Lanes has Keglers Pub which will gladly serve you any adult beverage that you desire. The tournament will be taking place inside of Keglers Pub but it's in our own reserved room. Around 9pm kareoke will kick off in the main bar area. Anybody wishing to play must pay by February 1, 2020. Anyone is welcome to come. Pheasant Lanes has a menu with a variety of things to choose from. The only thing Bloomington Tecmo asks is if you want to partake in the food we are having Pheasant Lanes provide then you pay us the regular fees that the players pay so I can cover the cost of all the food. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns just let us know by emailing us at Bloomingtontecmo@gmail.com. Thanks, and I hope to see you there!

Already paid. This will be my 3rd year going to the event. The guys in Bloomington are awesome and the event is great. You can't beat Food and Drink and a Tecmo tournament for $25!

I was working today thinking about what I was going to do this weekend. Telling a friend of mine I was thinking about getting really drunk tonight or tomorrow. Then it dawned on me, I have to be in Bloomington tomorrow to win a Tecmo Super Bowl tournament! I'm actually happy that it slipped my mind because now it feels like it came out of nowhere! What a wonderful time to be alive. Cannot wait to see you all tomorrow! Hope you're all ready! See you soon!!

Recap: I went 4-0 in group (3 seed) then lost in the first round to someone I beat twice in group (Donny Balou from Chicago!) He played great and I fumbled twice. Next game I beat Todd Daniels and then overcame a 14-0 (21-3) deficit to beat Tim Mann then lost 17-10 to the Sheild.

1st Place: Mort (back to back champ)

2nd Place: Tim Ubick (The Shield)

3rd Place: Hank (the tank)

4th Place: Levi Lacrosse (Nelson79)

Great tournament. $25 all you could eat Pizza, Nachos, Salad, Garlic Bread. Everyone played at least 6 games I believe.

Bowling Alley had a little arcade for kids and a VR area as well. Kid friendly environment!!

See you all next year!
