Knobbe Posted October 30, 2018 Share Posted October 30, 2018 Was just reading this Ringer article about the new shotgun jet sweep craze where a coach who ran only shotgun wanted to incorporate the jet sweep and figured out the solution to botched execution was a forward flip/pass instead of a handoff. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2018/10/30/18040534/jet-sweep-motion-play-rams-chiefs-offenses Was just thinking that a novel approach to emulating this play would be simply changing the receiver progression for RedGun Z Slant so that RB1 was the first WR and you could choose to flip the ball immediately as he ran by.
