SET Command List (Use with NES TSB & TSBTool)

Recommended Posts

I updated the first post to reflect the correct SET command to use for this code:

#Changing the differential for popcorning/ dl busting through
#http://tecmobowl.org/forums/topic/8388-changing-the-differential-for-popcorning-dl-busting-through/
#Visit link to see author's notes on variables to edit to modify code below

as per @bruddog's post found here. Thanks for the clarification bruddog!

@bruddog shared some more SET command knowledge! The code he posted works to eliminate the first down measurement animations. This would be used along with games that have the amount of yards needed for a first down edited as per this thread started by @konForce back in the day. Here's the link to the post:

I have updated the first post to include the command. Props to @TheRaja for posting about an issue with a league game.

Boy I am stuck on stupid....I updated the first post to include this amazing hack that was originally posted by @Jorgasms here:

@buck asked for me to post it up back on page one and I did. My dumbass forgot about it and had to be reminded by @gojiphen malor after I PM'ed him asking how in the hell he got the pre-snap huts back in his latest release. Enjoy to any who find this useful (I know I did since I was sitting on the old code in my personal files....DOH!)

With the CFL season just around the corner I decided to do a 2018 update to this great rom. I have added the hack to help ball carriers to crash through the line better. I have also changed the NFL all star team to include the original TSB all stars!  I have uploaded 2 roms again, and there are now 7 ninute quarters!

i just had a great conversation with dave and suggested that the top online tecmoer for the year should get a free entry into madison, he agreed that it makes sense so said yes

how do we decide whos the online tecmoer of the year? simple - whoever has the most league titles, online tournament wins, and championship game appearances

each league or tournament win isnt gonna be as much as the next. for example - a hstl title is worth the most reward points, it all just depends

HOPEFULLY BY ADDING A LITTLE INCENTIVE THIS WILL BRING MORE ATTENTION TO ONLINE TECMO

GTFO - champion = 2 reward points,  runner up = 1 reward points
      WTF -  champion = 8 reward points , runner up = 4 reward points
TTL - champion = 8 reward points, runner up = 4 reward points
TTLM - champion = 8 reward points, runner up = 4 reward points
HSTL - champion = 10 reward points, runner up = 5 reward points
NTGL - champion = 5 reward points, runner up = 2 reward points

tournament reward points  - will be based on how many competitors and level  of the competition. example - this year thunderdome - champion = 10 reward points, runner up = 5 reward points

Any questions or things that need to be changed like the amount of points each league is worth please let me know

My TSB NCAA19 is for this upcoming year.  I used Phil Steele's College Football 2018 Preview for my pre-season rankings, depth charts, formations, player names and jersey numbers.  I'm a fan of the original Tecmo Super Bowl so I make roms true to that version which I call "vanilla".  This rom is complete and I will probably not do an update during or after the season.  Enjoy!

The file has 4 versions of the game:  Vanilla, Vanilla - Color Rush Unis, Juiced, Juiced - Color Rush Unis

      Notes:
I don't care about player faces but did do the Top 30 players.   I stuck with the 3-4 defenses so for teams that actually run a 4-3 their second DT is at ILB.  Sorry to fans of Utah, Boston College, Texas A&M, Memphis, Louisville, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, South Florida and Air Force but your teams did not make my Top 32.  I did not include the Worst Possible Team (Bodom) like I have in the past.
