BAD_AL
I'm thinking about doing a SNES_TSBTool.I now know the whereabouts of the player name pointers, team formations (thanks to this elway7) and team offense preference (thanks to another thread of elway7's).I just started looking into this today, and I still need to find out:1. Sim offense and defense locations.2. Player attribute locations. 3. Schedule Hacking info. Can anyone hook a brother up?
sois
and you need to find skin color in celebrations.
COA Elway
The team SIM locations are on the EXCEL spreadsheet. The other two, I have no idea yet. Most of the stuff I've found seems to be toward the beginning of the rom. Right now I'm looking into changing the Quarter length. I've been doing this for several hours now, with no luck. A TSBSNES tool would be great! If I find more info, I'll be sure to post!
BAD_AL
Update: Ok I found the schedule. It's at 0x15f3be.It looks like you can change the games per week by simply placing ffff in a game spot.I'm not sure if this is ideal. Anyone know? BAD_AL
Also,If anyone knows how to set the KR and PR please post it here.
COA Elway
1991 schedule starts at 15F006. Teams go in order of the data screen. BUF = 00 IND = 01 MIA = 02 NE = 03 NYJ = 04 CIN = 05 CLE = 06 HOU = 07 PIT = 08 DEN = 09 KC = 0A OAK = 0B SD = 0C SEA = 0D DAL = 0E NYG = 0F PHI = 10 ARZ = 11 WAS = 12 CHI = 13 DET = 14 GB = 15 MIN = 16 TB = 17 ATL = 18 LAR = 19 NO = 1A SF = 1B GREAT find BAD_AL!! You can change the games per week by the FF's. As with the NES version, you need to have at least one game per week or the game crashes. BAD_AL
Ok,I found out a bit more with the KR and PR.The only guys you can assign to return punts and kicks are the three guys in the 'return team'.0 = first guy in return team1 = 2nd guy in return team2 = 3rd guy in return team(in case you didn't know, computers always start counting at 0, not 1)The starting offset location looks to be at: 0x170c90 The teams go in the order you would expect. Now I need to figure out how to modify the 'Return Team'. BAD_AL
Ok,Found the 'Return Team'.It doesn't look like you can assign all players to the return team (I tried assigning a TE (0x11), and it didn't work). The locations for the return teams are very close to the location for the return men (see post directly above).Start loc = 170cb0
BAD_AL
Ok,2 more topics to find out about.1. playbook modification2. Player skin color.I don't think playbook is supported in TSBM2000, so I'll support it in SNES_TSBTool.I also haven't looked into player skin color yet. Anybody know about this? BAD_AL
Actually it looks like TSBM does support race (On the 'details' button). Now I just need to find the celebration race, and playbooks
BAD_AL
Found Playbooks. They start at 0x170d2f, consist of 4 bytes (I think there's a 1 byte gap between them, but I'll have to re-check)

edisaurusrex
BAD_AL, I cant thank you enough for finding the KR/PR info. Great work man, you saved me countless days of pain and suffering!I was gonna say, and I know this sounds way too easy, but are you talking about the race attribute located in the player attributes? This does control all the player celebrations I'm sure...
BAD_AL
edisaurusrex,I have not seen 1 (SNES TSB) ROM where the player skin color (for celebrations) has changed based on the skin color in the attribute data.It only seemed to change the skin color of the guy in-game.Give it a try, (try to make Warren Moon a white guy, and check out what race he is in the celebrations).BTW:If you're intersted in beta testing SNES_TSBTool, the beta can be found here:http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/viewtopic. ... &&start=75 (5th post from top)UPDATE: SNES_TSBTool has been released and is available here
edisaurusrex
ok, I just assumed that would change it, I guess I never tried it actuallyI guess a good rom hacker would have actually took the time before posting (GOD I'M AN IDIOT!)
