dschnaq
How do I go about editing players in the latest rom? I'm using TSB Supreme and when I load the rom and try to edit players it has no Players or Player Ratings. It seems to work with all of my other Roms just not the new one. Tecmonster
You have to hit the "View Contents" button.
dschnaq
I loaded the Rom and hit the view contents and where the player names are supposed to be it says "messed up pointer". If I go to edit players everything is blank.
Bodom
Doesn't look like you can edit the ROMhttp://tecmobowl.org/topic/66329-nes-tecmobowlorg-presents-tecmo-super-bowl-2016/?p=456675
dschnaq
Well crap, that kinda takes some of the fun out of it for me. I like to go thru and rate the players myself. Thanks for the info Bodom.

You can use this version: http://tecmobowl.org/files/file/404-qbvikings-tsb-2015-2016-season-rom/-- it does not include some of the hacks and is editable with the editors. imflynn13
Is there a way to use a regular old hex editor to edit player names and attributes? I'm sure there is discussion of this somewhere on here, but let's say I just want to change Peyton Manning to somebody else...and edit his attributes (because lets face it...he needs it this year!). Is this something that can be done (or done easily?) by someone with zero experience editing ROMs? Thanks in advance.

EerFan85
Can't get the rom too work! I keep getting this Yellow Flag! penalty screen when I hit start. Only the intro screen loads.

rgodek
He is probably using the powerpak or everdrive...i was disappointed to find out that I couldn't play this year on the nes. I purchased a version but it's rife with issues and I felt like I was cheated. I wish I could just pay one of you for a version that's compatible with the nes haha. I get it, you're tired of losers taking your product and selling it on EBay as their own. Just wish there was a way to make it happen. Obviously if I was smart enough to edit a rom to work on the nes I would do it myself but I'm just a cop, what do I know?
