Baron von Lector
Tinkering around with the documentation that Knobbe and Dave sent me, I've managed to update the NES classic, Nintendo World Cup to reflect the 2014 World Cup using the FCEUX emulator's hex-editor. Aside from roster updates and taking down the Berlin Wall (W.Germany becomes Germany), I've sped the game up a little and adjusted the teams' power so that Germany is the #1 team all the way down to lowly Cameroon, Russia, and Japan. What I would like to do next is change the colors of the uniforms to most of the teams. Using the documentation that was given to me, I found where I can switch palettes for Germany's color scheme, but I found that all I was doing was randomly changing the hex value and getting space alien skin colors. Is there an easier, more calculated way of doing this?Nintendo World Cup 2014.nes Edited September 4, 2015 by Baron von Lector DFM
