MvG Sports
I just had one of these happen to me in SNES...1992 schedule, game 15 NYJ (ME) v. MIA. I threw a rather long pass from Browning Nagle to Rob Carpenter...it showed the cut screen of Carpenter jumping for the ball and it tipping off of his hands...after the live play returns, there's a split second that passes and then the INTERCEPTION bar flashes and the defender/db about 10 yards up the field has/caught the ball. Has anyone else had this happen or have thoughts about this? Take care. Trevor Leonard Fournette
DeBerg
Seriously? A tipped interception in this game? Never seen it happen before TSB II on the SNES is notorious for this
MvG Sports
Ahhh interesting...I was as surprised as you. It felt like a glitch. I've only played Tecmo Super Bowl 2 for SNES a handful of times, so I'll take your word for it.
DeBerg
The tipped interception in Tecmo Super Bowl 2 happens very often. It's been discussed on this forum a couple of times. There is ways you can tip it and chase it and manage to catch it, however very difficult, but possible. A few years ago I had a tipped ball end up in a reception to the receiver it was thrown too. That game is crazy as hell. My favorite of the Tecmo games for it's harder difficulty.
