Is there a way, or a link to a page that tells me how, to change the Divisions around in the game?

As I understand it there isn't enough space or something in the NFC west so the rosters always glitch out when I change them.

Thanks in advance and Great Rom. Love the hard work you guys put into this!

Here's the fix coach if you are using tsb tool supreme.....open the rom up in translhextion (of course)

on the menu, Offset / Jump to... / x3C010 / Ok

on the menu, Selection / Select Block... / x4000F (Select up to and including offset:) / Ok

on the menu, Selection / Copy / Ok

click on the hex area so it unhighlights

on the menu, Offset / Jump to... / x7C010 / Ok

on the menu, Selection / Paste / Overwrite and Paste Data how many times: 1 / Ok

on the menu, File / Save or Save As...

    done

Hope this helps coach!

This defiantly fixed the NFC West rosters, thanks for the pointers. Now however when I start the game, in Man vs Man or Man vs Com, the game glitches out just after the coin toss. Is it possible I jacked something up in the translhextion or could this be a different issue entirely?

Thanks for taking the time to help, man. I really appreciate it.

If it was working before, yes.

Make sure that you're overwriting the data and not appending.

I hope you in fact do a midseason update.  I mean, I LOVE the rom, but I don't like having AP on there for example, since he hasn't played since week 1 and is pretty much out of the league.  I had the Vikings beat me because of AP and you KNOW that wouldn't happen in their current roster  ;).  I don't want all those indefinitely suspended players on there (Peterson, Aldon Smith, etc).  Maybe I'm just a little OCD about accuracy.

Maybe I'm just a little OCD about accuracy.

It's the nature of preseason roms. You'd be surprised how inaccurate the original TSB rom is.

Miami Dolphins

RB :Damien Williams #5 -> #34

WR: Rishard Matthews #5 -> #18

Probably you may know this information.

But I will report just in case. I pray for your good luck. :)

Thanks for all the work that went into this.  This community continues to astound me with what it has accomplished.

Might I be able to get a text or spreadsheet version of the rosters and ratings?  I apologize if that is posted somewhere or if it is trivial to extract from the rom itself (I'm on mac) but I couldn't find anything after some searching.  My group of guys is planning to run another season with drafted teams and we thought it would be cool to do so with a current rom.  Having the ratings in a friendly format would sure make the draft board easier.

Thanks,

Bill

is there ever any roster updates post trade deadline, or is that against the tsb code?

It's more of a time thing...it takes a lot of time to update something that in the grand scheme of things barely anyone will care about...like does anyone want to play a week 9 rom from 2012?

Hi everyone ... I ve changed a few things on that version ... don't get mad at me ,still i think those upgrades are nice...

A few players heads also some more accurate numbers and the colors as well so every game has its own Home and Away colors that match  ...so far i did my

best to do so.

Except for the Nfc west, i don't understand why i can't make a color change on certain games ...though it works pretty well.

Just i want you to know that i play on a powerpak with a twin famicom and an old CRT TV so i think the colors suits better that way for a composite signal so....

Thanks again to all of you that still make this game so special 'till that day ...MERCI MERCI BEAUCOUP!!!!!!!

I'm having fun with this.  I just made the playoffs with the Bills.  Their QB performance can be atrocious at times.

Nice work on accuracy! :D

I have no WR at 1,000 yards and no RB cleared 500 yds.

Spot.  On.  :P

Just finished playing this rom last week. My Falcons lost to Jamaal Charles in the SB =( bummer lol. I have been a long time lurker and I created an account to comment on the work you've been doing.

I have a quick question though: it's very comfortable for me to play with these hacks, and I tried making a new "custom version" for myself using the Fantasy Roster spreadsheet tool. But I just cannot load the resulting rosters in this ROM using TSBTool Supreme because they're not 100% shown and the tool's GUI identifies it as somehow corrupted. Is it because of the 768 kb rom filesize on this version, as opposed to the usual 512 kb?

Thanks for the job TB.org! You rock!

Anyone did a post-draft rom? I'm not complaining, just asking ;) !

Not ever going to happen in this thread. Someone might upload one at some point though in this forum section.

      FIFA World Cup 2014
View File This isn't Tecmo, but it is Football.

I've modified the Sega Genesis' FIFA International Soccer '93 to reflect the rosters of the 2014 FIFA World Cup that was won by Germany.  There are 48 teams total, plus an Adidas All-Star Team.

Although the teams are from three years ago, this will serve as a foundation for when I release a future ROM based on the 2018 World Cup.  If my memory serves correct, this is the 4th ROM released in a series of ROMs based on the 2014 World Cup, to include Nintendo World Cup (NES), International Superstar Soccer (SNES), and J.League Winning Goal (NES).

Please note, I still consider this release to be a work in progress.  At the moment, I have been unable to locate the locations of the player ratings.  To off-set this, I've arranged the rosters so that 2014's players reflect the 1993 players in both position and skill level.  I figure while not necessary, I have until 2018 to figure this out.  I was able to adjust the overall team ratings, however.

      Enjoy!

      FIFA Brazil 2014
View File This is my most ambitious edit project to date.  To give an idea of the original ROM based on a Japanese professional football league (J.League Winning Goal), check out the images below:

One of the first things I did was to translate the ROM to English.  On ROMHacking.net, there was a patch provided that reduced my workload by about 50%.

Next, I replaced all of the team flags with each country's national flags.  The countries in the game are:  United States, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Belgium, France, England, Mexico, Germany, Italy, and Portugal.  After replacing the flags, I replaced the original team logos with the logo or crest for each country's football association.

After changing the logos, I modified the rosters and ratings for each player to accurately reflect the 2014 World Cup.

The kit colors came next.  I had to go with a team's 2nd or 3rd colors in order to make it as accurate as possible.

Finally, to pander the the Tecmo crowd, I updated the appearance to have more of a Tecmo-feel to it.  The fonts were replaced with those from Tecmo Super Bowl, along with a few color schemes (white on black, white on blue).

In regards to the game, there are two modes:  Exhibition (1 or 2 players) and League.  League emulates a larger-scale pool play in the sense that every team will play every other team once before a Champion is crowned.

In the next few weeks, I'm going to start re-uploading my collection of historic RBI Baseball ROMs to the site that were lost in the recent file-dump.  To prevent an oversaturation of RBI Baseball to the site, I will spread out the releases.  This will include Major League, Minor League, Japanese League, and future Negro League ROMs.  Be ready!

This ROM is based on the 2014 Major League season and it contains the following teams:  St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Angels, Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Nationals, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, and Kansas City Royals.
