Drawing Routine for Intro (Montana, Barry , LT)?

Anyone know where in the hex the intro graphics are drawn from? It looks like they're sprites, so logic would suggest they'd draw similar to the helmet logos (2 bytes for starting position, tile, 01, tile, 05, etc..), but 'm having no luck finding them in the hex.

I've also searched similar to how other graphics are stored (4x4 metatiles starting with a palette value) but have also come up  blank.

Anyone have any pointers where/how to look? I've attached a mock up of LT showing the tile data.

Now, just an OFF-TOPIC question.  Do you have, by any chance the "values" (RS, RP, MS....) from this JJ WATT of your Rom??

And the real season stats.??? ( I mean, how many sacks/tackles he made last season)

thx.

I unfortunately do not. Just working a graphics hack at the moment.

Are you talking about this screen?

It has a BACKGROUND setup, so probably the palette is within the entire block..

Thanks again. That explains why I couldn't find it; I was searching sprites.

You could probably flip the sprites and have the defender use the bg pallette.

Love the new style graphics, Keith - lots of personality.  One suggestion is to make the "other graphics" on the screen in a similar style.  As it is, the graphics you didn't touch look out of place.  (I know it's a lot of work!!! just a comment)

No offense; you're absolutely right. I tried to make the new assets as "Tecmo" as possible, still may make some tweaks.
