TecSpectre
This file is the NFTGL Book of Armaments. The file contains all player information. There are tabs listing players by position, as well as tabs for each individual team. The Man Pt value that is listed is a rating score created by the NFTGL. It is based on research online about what each attribute does and its overall value to the player. As a ranking system, it's solid. It might not be 100% accurate based on player preference, but it's good enough. Each position page is sorted from best to worst in the game. This is a bare bones version of my TSB3 excel file changed for TSB. There are some changes I want to make for defensive player positions (listing LB1-4 instead of just LB) and things like that... But I just posted the TSB3 one up, so I figured I'd post this one too. It might prove more helpful for newer players than whatever else is out there. The TSB Book of Armaments.xls Edited January 25, 2013 by TecSpectre
GameplayLoop
When you have a second, dudester, if you could write a VERY BRIEF accountment of the information contained within these spreadsheets in your first post, that would be great. New players / new community members would probably love it, but it'll help them to have a little explanation as to what is the document. GREAT JOB, DUDE. TecSpectre
done... hope it helps anyone in need of the player stats. I find it to be a really helpful tool in getting familiar with the game, and players in the game, especially when I am not able to play the game, but reviewing a spreadsheet is a possibility. TecSpectre
I saw you posted a video. I can't look at it at work. Filters block out all video. I'll take a look at it later.

GameplayLoop
Kingraph, be sure to check this out, too. It's the time of the season where I do some house-cleaning / forum updating--so it's needs a little work--but you'll find a lot of good info here, and in several other stickied threads across the site.http://tecmobowl.org/topic/11641-editing-tsb-faqs-spreadsheets-tutorials-resources/

I LOVE the idea of a single FAQ thread that organizes and links a lot of information into an easy to follow format. TecSpectre
I agree... I recently did a lot of study on tsb and had to go to a lot of different areas, google searchings, forum searches... read the leif powers faq on the toilet... things like that. Knowing that accuracy of passing means nothing... what amount of HP more than a defending players allows you to popcorn a guy (and thus what HP on a defender means they can never be popcorned)... are really nice little tidbits to learn for choosing defending players to use. in the end though... it comes down to play skill, and thumb speed! bruddog
Did I not download something because this ranking has TB as the second worst team in the game and pittsburgh as the 10th best over Buffalo who is 11th? You are entitled to your opinion but in this case whatever formula you are using is plain wrong. If I missed something then disregard the above. bruddog
And even some of the individual player ratings look very funny. Otis is not better than 63ms backs. Pepper johnson is not the 3rd best lb in the game.
Chris
Where is the TSB 3 spread sheet for player ratings?
