Marcules85
No stupid, I mean how does the game figure out who wins the grapples. Hey running is just pressing a button in the direction, but for some reason there are about 10 threads on it, huh.
BO FB Offtackle Left
cpu vs. cpu - pretty sure it's strictly HP. 50+ difference gets popcorned, less and they grapple - higher HP wins. I also think there are degrees after that. Like a big difference will result in the guy going flying, while a smaller difference will result in just lying down. Equal HP might result in those draws that you see sometimes.I'm not at all sure about this, just hypothesizing. Someone like Bruddog have a definite answer? Anyone? bruddog
Well when its human vs CPU in a man vs man game HP means very little as you can normally outgrapple a single computer player. A 50HP difference causes a popcorn. In man vs man grapples I think HP matters very little even with just a moderate difference between the two players grappling ability. Tecmo proably just takes some time sample after the two playes collide to determine who pressed A more + some HP factor. OR maybe HP does nothing in a man vs man grapple. It's har to tell. buck
1 second also, (person who asked the question) keep in mind that there is a delay between the tackle or toss graphic and this "1 second". so it appears to be more than 1 second, but the actual timer begins right at contact and lasts a second....so get all your taps in that 1st second, the rest dont really matter.
