BO FB Offtackle Left
decided to resurrect this challenge to see how well I do. I had a question, are you allowed to be Ray Agnew? Because he's the fastest player on the defense. Is it still lurching if you dive with a DE instead of a NT?

BO FB Offtackle Left
WEEK 2 - NE vs. CLEthe 35 - 0 shutout and Grogan returns!! He only was out for a half of 1 quarter. He'd laid down the Mesopotamian Law today: 71% 295 yrds 4Td's and his obligatory 1 INT... (thrown to a completey OPEN man but the pass sailed to the right like for some Mobutu-like reason and Frank Minnifield was there to take it. ) CHECK THIS NOISE OUT! In my years I've never returned a KO for a TD with Sammy Martin. take a gander..... YEEEOUCH!! it was one of those short kicks that I fielded on the 35 and went striaght up the gut. (BTW - - tatupu is currently on my bench in EXCELLENT!!) NEXT!!!!!!!!! That's because the RT has 19 MS. I've been NE about... 5 times in my life, maybe less. After 4 games and 7 returns Martin has averaged 21 yards a return and has 1 TD. Returning kicks for TDs isn't that hard, man. Oh and Martin is in bad, by the way, and the RT is in avg. So I have 19 RS, 19 MS, and 6 HP. I can't be bothered to post game stats, but I will post season stats when I am done. And I decided I can't resist using Agnew sometimes, but I will try to use Lippett as long as I have a comfortable lead.

BO FB Offtackle Left
Ah fuck it, I'm being Agnew most of the time. I skimmed through the posts and it looks like everyone was using Agnew.I'm playing a ground-based game, with Stephens usually getting more than 20 carries a game. I just played Miami in week 11 and it was the first time I came close to losing. I was down 21-10 when I scored with 4 minutes left in the 4th Q. I kicked it away and pinned them inside the 10 yard line. I picked the right play on the first possession (pass 4) to get a safety and make it 21-19. Then it was all Stephens, 5 yards here, 10 yards there, with Grogan running in the TD from 4 yards out to make it 26-21. They got it deep again. I called the shotgun again but they did the rollout, and I managed to chase down Marino with Agnew for another safety. They recovered the onside kick with under a minute to play, so I played it safe by dropping Lippett (in Bad condition) into coverage. Marino completed a pass but I forced a fumble, someone on the Pats managed to recover it, and I ran out of bounds with no time on the clock to win 28-21.Marino had 100% completions for 174 yards, Duper made 3 catches for 153 yards, and Smith had a 92 yard cracked out TD run. They ran the ball only 3 times for 106 yards. Grogan threw 40% for 65 yards and no Ints. McMurty made one 50 yard catch filling in for the injured Fryar, which led to a TD a couple of plays later. Stephens was a workhorse again, with 30 carries for 169 yards. The Pats had 34 runs total for 184 yards.
operagost
I play mostly with Lippett, seldom with Tippett (hope I didn't get those two mixed up again), and on very rare occasions with Agnew because I suck with linemen. As for offense, I can dominate with Sievers at Allen's spot and Wilson at QB, but non-injury substitutions are verboten in the CHALLANGE!! BO FB Offtackle Left
woohoo, managed to go undefeated in the regular season. Highlights include: Agnew had 70 sacks, Martin ran back 2 KRs for TDs and led the league in average (forget what it was), and Stephens had over 1000 yards rushing and finished 7th in the league. I was also way over the 255 limit, so his real YPC must have really sucked.Lowlight is Grogan finished dead last in QB rating. Will play the playoffs and post final results later tonight or later this week.I noticed something interesting, when you use the DL, the computer's playbook becomes much more important than the ability of individual players. The Bills are extremely easy to defend against with the DL, the only plays you have to worry about are the shotguns. The second time I faced the Bills I beat them 11-0. The Colts and the Jets, on the other hand, have several good plays where using the DL is difficult to defend against them. If I did this challenge without using Agnew at all, I would be lucky to make the playoffs.
BO FB Offtackle Left
ah fuck it again, I lost in the playoffs to the Chiefs because I fumbled 3 punt returns which were ran in for TDs, and then Stephens fumbled on a first run deep in my own territory. One play later Paige scored. I had been winning 13-0 until this series of fuckups, but lost 28-20. I'm not going to bother with my season stats. I did reset and finally beat the Chiefs, but obviously it doesn't count for anything.
