Tommyspud
So, I'm attempting to work with my Mutant League Football romhack, the Pigsucker Pukes(Replace Chiefs), have a Black and orangish attire, same as the Terminator Trollz(Raiders replace), so I attempt to change them to their secondary attire, which swaps Black with Grey, however... This only works during the cutscenes, the actual on-field sprites are not edited. Also, whenever this team faces the Darkstar Dragons(Bills), they default to the Chief's colors. I've tried editing this in TSBToolSupreme, and any other editor I have, but for some reason, this continues to happen. Does anyone know why? I don't think there's anything wrong with the line of code, because it's set up almost exactly the same way as the others.
buck
if you're using 32-team ROM, by cxrom - you've found the problem. the NFC West teams in the 32-team rom can't use ALT jerseys.if you're not using 32-team rom, then you really should be using TSB TOOL Supreme to edit uniforms. Tommyspud
I am not using the 32 team rom, because there aren't 32 teams in the Mutant League. However, I have been using TSB Tool Supreme(Edit: triple checked, it is the current version), and it seems to not help anything regarding this matter, at least, on this rom.On other roms it works fine, though. Tommyspud
Here's the code.TEAM = chiefs SimData=0xff1, OFFENSIVE_FORMATION = 2RB_2WR_1TEPLAYBOOK R4836, P8527 COLORS Uniform1=0x17160f, Uniform2=0x171600, DivChamp=0x0f000f2716, ConfChamp=0x0f000f16, UniformUsage=0x00100000
THAT. BIRD.
This topic interests me as well, I've been trying to make the Vikings and Ravens a little less obnoxious shade of purple, but the changes I make in TSBTool Supreme never transfer over to the game. Hurricane495
So there's 3 sets of numbers..I figured out that the last set determines the jersey so are the first 2 sets pants and helmet?
buck
1st number is pants and helmet (they have to be the same), 2nd number is "dark" players skin color.
Ghost
I made this a while back as depending on if you play the game in fceux or nestopia the colors could be different. I like to edit the games in fceux but play the games in nestopia because I can export season stats. The "F" column is for fceux and the "N" column is for nestopia. Hope that helps. buck
nice post, ghost. In addition, I would add that the "N" column is also closer to actual NES colors on a TV (if played on a cart or whatever).
bruddog
OR you could enable NTSC color emulation in FCEUX and play with the tint and hue till it matches.... buck

Hurricane495
How do you set it to switch jerseys? On the NCAA 2010 rom it switches between different team uniforms Edited September 18, 2014 by Hurricane495
Ghost
I've spent a lot of time playing with sliders in fceux/nestopia and importing palettes, but it tends to be like a game of wack-a-mole I'd get one color the way I'd like but a different color would look bad.
