TB editing

What do we currently know about editing the original TB game? Looking for team names, uni colors and matchup code if that applies, can't remember if the unis switch based on teams played, and player names and attributes, playbooks. Anyone know where this stuff is?

I can still remember working on this for several Saturdays back in the day.

I was contacted by a guy and we worked on isolating and defining the attributes of Tecmo Bowl.

Emuware had an editor that changed the names and stats, but at that time didn't touch the attributes.

We then got Emuware to put out a new editor to change the attributes.

Any idea on how to do the endzones? I couldn't find them in the tiles, and they dint change wit emuwares editor

Turd, I considered just pm'ing you but then thought we should post our editing discussions in an effort to recruit others to TB and to share the knowledge. So...

1. How do you tweak the schedule? I want it to go from easiest to hardest (32-1) and don't know how to do that.

2. In your 32 team rom, did you set up the schedule this way or is it random? I think I remember you told me that you used the 2009 NFL Final Standings for your 32 team rankings.

3. What program should I use to fix it the way I want?

Jstout setup this schedule. I'll get you the criteria he used. It works great. Each team has a 16 game schedule that they follow. I have a spreadsheet that I use that creates the set patches for me.

P.s.'threres a bug in my editor in regards to playbooks. Major bug, simple fix.
