Bodom
Inspired by MrNFL's SNES season, I just put all teams on COM mode and am having the season playout COM vs. COM in FCEUX to determine the greatest team of all time. Simming games on SKP just doesn't do it for me. Besides, the turbo option on that thing is f'n QUICK! Each game takes about 50 seconds. I'm not going to record any of the games...maybe the Super Bowl if there's any interest at all. This is really for my own curiosity.Something to pass the time on a rainy day at work. I'll send an update when I hit the playoffs.Any predictions? So far OJ and the Bills are looking tough....from what I can see of the blur on my screen. I've never went through a season on COM v COM mode for any ROM. when you just SKP a season, sim stats are what's used, but COMing a season should give a better idea of the strength of teams (or maybe just show which teams have the better default playbook).i'd like to know which teams make it to the playoffs/super bowl. There's always a few you slow down and watch though. Using Nestopia would take days.I'm currently in Week 9...here's the top teams.8-1 (78 Steelers, 73 Bills, 92 Cowboys, 94 49ers)7-1 (07 Patriots)7-2 (85 Bears, 91 Redskins)The 78 Steelers are killing everyone with a + 160 pt differential. The 07 Pats only have a +8 point differential? They must have lost big and won the other 7 really close.

buck
nice, bodom. That's actually not too bad for a COM v COM run through. The OJ Bills team shouldn't be that good, but other than that - looks OK to me! After you finish this, reset the season and do a full SKP sim, compare.keep in mind that this is the 1st ROM I made... buck
daaaahhhh bears...on another note - Bodom, you've helped expose a flaw in TSB TOOL....I started COM v COM a buck TSB 2010 season - a few games in I noticed that the real life home teams were playing as Player 2. (for example in TOOL, you write ravens at jets - but when you COM v COM this, the jets are Player 2!). so I switched everything around for TOOL - jets at ravens => and the jets were player 1.so, long story short, people should be using this as a schedule - because TSB Tool is backward:WEEK 1 saints at vikingssteelers at falconsgiants at panthersbears at lionstitans at raiderstexans at coltsjaguars at broncosbills at dolphinspatriots at bengalsbuccaneers at brownseagles at packersseahawks at 49ersrams at cardinalsredskins at cowboysjets at ravenschiefs at chargersWEEK 2 titans at steelerslions at eaglesbengals at ravensfalcons at cardinalsvikings at dolphinsbrowns at chiefspanthers at buccaneerspackers at billscowboys at bearsbroncos at seahawksraiders at ramschargers at jaguarsredskins at texansjets at patriotscolts at giants49ers at saintsWEEK 3 ravens at brownsbuccaneers at steelerstitans at giantsvikings at lionssaints at falconspanthers at bengalspatriots at billschiefs at 49erstexans at cowboysjaguars at eaglesrams at redskinsbroncos at coltscardinals at raidersseahawks at chargersdolphins at jetsbears at packersWEEK 4 steelers at ravenspackers at lionssaints at panthersfalcons at 49ersbills at jetstitans at broncosrams at seahawksbrowns at bengalsjaguars at coltsraiders at texanschargers at cardinalseagles at redskinsgiants at bearsdolphins at patriotsWEEK 5 texans at giantslions at ramsredskins at packerspanthers at bearsbengals at buccaneersravens at broncosbrowns at falconscolts at chiefsbills at jaguarscardinals at saintscowboys at titansraiders at chargers49ers at eaglesjets at vikingsWEEK 6 steelers at brownsgiants at lionsbuccaneers at saintseagles at falconsbears at seahawkspackers at dolphinsrams at chargerstexans at chiefspatriots at ravens49ers at raidersbroncos at jetsvikings at cowboysredskins at coltsjaguars at titansWEEK 7 dolphins at steelerssaints at brownschiefs at jaguarstitans at eaglesravens at billsbears at redskinsfalcons at bengalspanthers at 49ersbuccaneers at ramsseahawks at cardinalschargers at patriotsbroncos at raiderspackers at vikingscowboys at giantsWEEK 8 lions at redskinschiefs at billsrams at panthers49ers at broncosjets at packersbengals at dolphinscowboys at jaguarschargers at titanscardinals at buccaneerspatriots at vikingsraiders at seahawkssaints at steelerscolts at texansWEEK 9 lions at jetspanthers at saintstexans at chargersvikings at cardinalsbrowns at patriotsfalcons at buccaneersbills at bearsravens at dolphinsseahawks at giantseagles at coltsraiders at chiefspackers at cowboysbengals at steelersWEEK 10 bills at lionsfalcons at ravenscolts at bengalsbrowns at jetsbears at vikingsdolphins at titansjaguars at texansbuccaneers at panthersgiants at cowboysbroncos at chiefs49ers at ramscardinals at seahawkssteelers at patriotsredskins at eaglesWEEK 11 dolphins at bearssteelers at raiderscowboys at lionsjaguars at brownstitans at redskinsjets at texanspanthers at ravensvikings at packerschiefs at cardinalsbengals at billssaints at seahawks49ers at buccaneersrams at falconspatriots at coltsgiants at eagleschargers at broncosWEEK 12 lions at patriotscowboys at saintsjets at bengalsbills at steelersgiants at jaguarsbears at eaglesfalcons at packersravens at buccaneerstexans at titansredskins at vikingsbrowns at panthersseahawks at chiefsraiders at dolphinsbroncos at ramscolts at chargerscardinals at 49ersWEEK 13 eagles at texansdolphins at brownspackers at 49erschiefs at broncosvikings at billslions at bearstitans at jaguarsgiants at redskinsbengals at saintsbuccaneers at falconschargers at raidersseahawks at pantherscardinals at ramscolts at cowboysravens at steelerspatriots at jetsWEEK 14 titans at coltsredskins at buccaneersbills at brownsvikings at giantslions at packersjaguars at raiderssteelers at bengalspanthers at falconsbears at patriots49ers at seahawkssaints at ramscardinals at broncosjets at dolphinschargers at chiefscowboys at eaglestexans at ravensWEEK 15 chargers at 49ersrams at chiefspanthers at cardinalsgiants at eaglesbuccaneers at lionsbengals at brownsdolphins at billscowboys at redskinscolts at jaguarsravens at saintstitans at texansseahawks at falconssteelers at jetsraiders at broncospatriots at packersvikings at bearsWEEK 16 steelers at pantherscardinals at cowboyschiefs at titansbuccaneers at seahawkseagles at vikingsbrowns at ravensbills at patriotsrams at 49ersdolphins at lionsjaguars at redskinsbears at jetsbroncos at texansraiders at coltspackers at giantsbengals at chargersfalcons at saintsWEEK 17 browns at steelersredskins at giantslions at vikingssaints at buccaneerspackers at bearspatriots at dolphinsfalcons at pantherschiefs at raiderstexans at jaguarsjets at billseagles at cowboysravens at bengalscolts at titansbroncos at chargers49ers at cardinalsseahawks at ramsyou're welcome. TecmoTurd
That's been a known issue for a while. At least for me, as I noticed it when writing league websites and tsbtool text generators. TecmoTurd
Sorry, I guess I just assumed that since TSBTool was so widely used that everyone knew. My bad P.S. When are we gonna play some TB32?
phenom
Just wanted to give a shout out. This game is awesome. I was always an SNES guy, but this is probably the most enjoyable game I've played, and a great challenge.I finally pulled off a 16-0 Super Bowl championship season with the 67 Rams. I love the mix of older teams!

buck
if you wonder why there are those 2007-08 teams, it's because that's when the ROM was made - 2008. There is another one I did - a bit more updated - it goes up to the 2013 seahawks, as well as other teams were swapped in/out like 96 GB the playbooks are a bit better (less wonky) in the newer one. but there's nothing wrong with the original. I played tons of games and seasons on it. I need to make a couple of tweaks to it based on recently discovered hacks, but I will post it soon. see below.
