Arcade Tecmo Bowl... Has anyone ever tried hacking it's MAME ROM?

I don't think you can lateral the ball. I also don't think you can make a manual block because you're always controlling the player with the ball.

Has anyone made a ROM hack in which an interception or Punt Return in the end zone won't result in a touchback?

Some crazy stuff boys. I thought you meant a real tip and not a cut screen tip. But regardless, it's still pretty cool. But it would be off the hook if it was a real tip.... but I don't think anyone will ever experience that.

BUCK BUCK BUCK... Buck shots out the sunroof... This ROM hack is awesome. Great job! One of the things I like a lot is that the CPU is so much better. They are greatly improved. I like how most of the time I am unable to break a tackle. It is too easy when you are able to break tackles against the CPU. I have a question. Is there some other ROM hack that somebody made in which it is the normal TSB game but only with a greatly improved CPU like it is in this hack?

It's the Goodtools format. You are probably looking at No-Intro format. The No-Intro's (Rev A) = Goodtools's (PRG1) There are 3 different ROMs for Tecmo Bowl. In No-Intro format, they are: Tecmo Bowl (USA) Tecmo Bowl (USA) (Beta) Tecmo Bowl (USA) (Rev A) In Goodtools format, they are: Tecmo Bowl (U) (PRG0) [!] Tecmo Bowl (U) (Prototype) Tecmo Bowl (U) (PRG1) [!]

I wanted to know so if I decide to hack the game, I want to use the same ROM as everyone else... this way in case I run into any problems or whatever. For example, when hacking cheat codes for games... some games' cheat codes for PRG0 will not work on the PRG1 version and vice versa.

Thanks for the responses. My latter question has been answered regarding what the differences were between PRG0 and PRG1. But my first question still stands... regarding what PRG version are those hacked ROMs based off of? Also, I read about BoKnow's website. I heard it had some good info. What Goodtools version of the (NES) Tecmo Bowl ROM is used for those hacked ROMs in the download section? Is it... Tecmo Bowl (U) (PRG0) [!] or Tecmo Bowl (U) (PRG1) [!] Also, do you know what the difference is between the two?
