Season 2 is definitely going to happen. I'm just getting through a very busy time with work and all of my spare time has been going towards Fantasy Football preparation, not to mention the start of the NFL season.

Once these are all underway I'll get season 2 up and going.

I'm new at online leagues in general (never played in one) but I like the idea of a coach league. Can I play when season 2 starts? I promise I'll stick around for it.

I'd love to draft players for it, though. Any chance of starting from scratch, or are all those returning that much in love with their teams?

i really want Ron "The Force" Forsche and Robert "The Dude" Dudek to stay on my team, but im willing to give in to new draft or whatever as long as i can name my starting rb and wr the above that would make me happy (i care less about keeping the same ratings for them, as long as i get them in name and pic and jersey number )

As I said before, I'm open to doing whatever but I personally would like to keep the teams as they are and then introduce a pool of free agents so owners can change and adjust their rosters accordingly.

I'm just not sure how we will handle that. I love the salary cap functionality that Sois uses in his league, but it would take too much time to add that to tecmophile right now.

However, I have recently added a rating system. This rating system looks at all players in their respective positions and then assigns them a rating from 1-4 based on their overall attributes. 1 being the best.

I was thinking we could use that rating system to essentialy "buy" free agents. if you wanted to pick up a 3 rated WR, you have to drop a 3 WR/TE from your team. Or if you want to upgrade your defense without giving up the few decent defenders you have, you could drop a 3 WR and a 1 DB to pick up a 3 DB and a 1 WR. The point being you have to give up the same amount of rating points that you pick up.

Random thoughts. what do you guys think?

It's kinda funny you are fixated on these names given that your team was the one where I actually made up most of the names rather than used the names that were generated. Both of those names actually belong to real people. One I went to High School with, the other is a VP in a well-known company. Their names were the ones that popped into my head at the time.

I'm new to the league (if you let me in, that is ), so I'll go with whatever system you come up with. The only thing is I want a chance to have some control over whatever my team is, rather than getting stuck with something that already existed that nobody wanted. If that means taking an existing team and drafting a few new players, that could work, as long as all the teams are basically equal.

I don't want to see the defending champ come back with a RB like Bo and a WR like Rice and I'm stuck with a team like the Colts, to use an extreme example.
