i got it, will let you know when i play

i havent played madden since ray lewis was on the cover, 05??  But looks interesting with the daily champion fantasy draft mode , love that aspect, and the madden ultimate team looks cool, although I feel from what ive seen it will cost $ out of pocket to field a great team, something Im not going to do.

At least with mlb the show you can work the market to build up your team, hoping you can do the same now.

so i had time to play it

my answer to the should you get it

if you have madden 15, the answer is no, only major difference(it is a big thing for me since im an avid fantasy player is the draft champions mode where you do a fantasy draft and play with that team)

if you do not have 15, YES

The last madden i played was 05 with ray ray on the cover and im LIGHT YEARS behind and hard to catch up all in a weekend and im trying.

Time literally FLIES and gets away from you when playing as i looked up and its 4 freeking am and my son will be up around 7 am im guessing :)

Its a good thing i work so much during the week and dont have time to play it really.

I bought it, like I do every year.

I would recommend to buy it. Currently it is very un playable, lots of glitches that need patching. Once these things get patched, I feel it will be the most solid Madden titles since 2005.

Penalties are finally working!

Player movement is really good this year.

Defenders actually defend now.

Qbs throw off target more, which is good!

Less sacks.

Madden 15 was ok, but the sack issue was a deal breaker for me. Typical ea though as far as not thoroughly testing their product and releasing a bug filled game. I have patience though and will wait. MUT and DRAFT CHAMPIONS, EA can shove up their asses!! Total waste of time and money! It's for young kiddies with mommy's credit card! Madden mobile is the same.

Because a half baked game that is on time probably costs them less than ironing out every bug and releasing it late.

That's the unfornate reality of the must have it now culture we are in.

people need to appeal to the NFL, because it's their fault they signed exclusive NFL video game deal with EA, who now has no competition and therefore no real good reason to make a game worth anything.

dear NFL,

1st of all, you need to fire CEO roger GOODELL.  2nd of all, you need to let other companies make NFL video games.  EA is lazy, like a government worker or welfare recipient, and has no incentive to make a good video game.  Whether they make a good game or not, it will not effect EA's pocket.  And that hurts us NFL fans more than you realize.

signed,

ancient NFL video game guru.

I only have Maddens 13, 12 and 09 xD i dont really get much of a chance to buy them till prices drop

I found an amazing deal online, had no intention of getting the new madden.

Basically if you traded the old madden 15 in, new or used to best buy, you would get a 22 $ gift card and 10 $ coupon, plus 10 % off if you were a member of the GCU at best buy.

So for 35ish off the game i bought it for 25 after getting a used copy a week earlier off of amazon for 10 bucks.

Never knew best buy did trade ins.

I've owned or had a copy of a Madden football game in some way or another every year since John Madden football on the Commodore 64.  Then I started buying it for Sega Genesis, then for PSX, PS1, PS2, PS3 and now PS4. I played all of the Madden's from inception to Madden 13.  I did not buy Madden 25 or 15, but my kids owned it.

My oldest kid just got Madden 16. I played it without having picked up a game since Madden 13 and was able to beat Minnesota with San Francisco on All Pro difficulty.  I used to play Madden online and I think in Madden 09 or 10 I was ranked pretty high on the PS3 platform.

The game is OK.  Not a whole lot of difference IMO from the last few that I saw/played.  I will say that the defense does stay with the offense better than in previous games. The new passing/catching mechanism is different but does not distinguish itself enough from its predecessors to warrant a new game for $60+, with a new presentation and updated rosters.  Just my opinion though

I play madden a bunch and completely disagree. Catching is so much harder, passing the ball is difficult. I really do not like this madden at all and prolly will not pick it up till months later...its very difficult to play as far as passing goes been playing madden since 2003

Question? Is it harder or is it more realistic.  I have actually found it easier to throw to my outside receivers.  Instead of being able to complete 80-90% of my passes now, I am completing between 55 and 70% of my passes.  My play style with SF was always run first and my passes were to the backs or the tight ends (High Percentage), because of all of the nano blitz schemes players played in the past the flats and TE's were always an easy option. The only passes I completed to receivers on a regular basis were crossing routes underneath or to the slot receivers.  I have found at least in the short time that I have played this version, the underneath stuff is still there (even more so than before), but I can get the ball to my outside receivers more often than I used to. Still it is at a lower clip than in previous Madden's, but at least it is an option.

Harder to me, I throw "high percentage" passes too. I have wide open outside receivers and the ball goes sailing out of bounds not even close. really do not like this madden as far as passing game goes. Defense and running game is better.
