Thanks to QBVikings' addicting 2015 hack, I've been enjoying some perfect seasons, going 19-0 with the Chargers and Packers.

But what's this -- RG3 thinks he can one-up Rivers AND Rodgers?

Four games in, RG3 is leading the league in every passing category. I don't think I've ever had that happen in any version of Tecmo, ever.

If RG3 can stay on pace and get an 8000yd season, I will become a Redskins fan for life. Even though I hate saying, "Redskins."

Off the top of my head........Isn't this thread supposed to be about people like Johnny Johnson, Bo Jackson, Christian Okoye, Craig "Iron Head" Heyward, O.J. Oh........and since you talkin' RG3 QB's, you will be able to accomplish the exact same stats if not better with the original running, and just as perfect passing QB of the 90's, Randall Cunningham {a.k.a. #0 QB Eagles}.........stick wit the original...that's my advise to you.

WTF is he rated so highly for?

Yeah, the QB Rating system seems to be even more skewed than the OG version ... I believe the cap is 256+ change in the original. But having your 26 TDs be 40% of your completions will get you sky-high on any rating system.

You don't gotta worry bout nothin'........................because in 2015, you don't have to deal with, contain, wrap up, hog tie, corrall, or slide tackle, (because that's all you can do) a Tecmobowl phenom like Johnny Johnson...consider yourself lucky.

Precisely. Although I must admit, it is fun to run into different teams with dominant QBs than are in the original, namely the Saints, Patriots, Packers and Chargers.

As for the odd QB Rating system in 2015, I found another interesting example, after Cam tried to QB sneak one too many times.

he wasn't juiced enough to outrace Sheldon Richardson, who sacked his ass in the endzone, for the game winner.

That's one thing about those D / ST seasons I love -- how key a simple safety can be. Of course, I've lost games on a safety, too. But that's the way the cookie crumbles.

As for RGIII's campaign, I'm at the halfway point, and my dream of an 8000yd season begins to feel far-fetched. Oh well, I'm having one helluva time scooping up onsides and cranking up my TD count.

Nice work.

RG3 has always had a very high completion percentage and in his rookie year his TD/INT ratio was off the charts. That stat has come back down to earth recently and both are accounted for in his ratings.

As for Derek Anderson, take a look at how he performed last year when called into action. He is now a much more cerebral player but has lost some arm strength over the years, which is actually a good thing because he has learned to go with the safer throw and play within the game, instead of trying to force passes (see Jay Cutler). His slow pass speed will get him into trouble but the high completion and accuracy stats make him a reliable backup spot starter.

To really get the best out of this rom, play the juiced version.

Thanks. It certainly is fun to have a QBEagles caliber player in a different environment.

I wasn't too surprised to see DA throw five consecutive incomplete into the stands, only to see his rating listed as "2.0" afterward. The charms of Tecmo.

I'll have to try out the juiced version, but I am still enjoying my RGIII campaign.

3/4 through my WAS season and the stats still piling up.

Yes, Darrell Thompson........He is eazily the Packers best runningback on this game........He was a 6'2 230 lb rookie Tailback from the Minnesota Golden Gophers.  His career didn't quite pan out as well as everybody in Greenbay thought it would, but he was a hell of a talent.....but in reguards to his skill in Tecmo Superbowl, he seems to have a hidden stat, which from my personal experience, he seems to stay in EXCELLENT condition the whole fucc!n year if you start him......I had 3,500+ yrds rushing with him one year, and over 50 TD's......not to mention, he's a hell of a returner.  I'm suprized that a Greenbay fan like yourself hasn't heard of him...he was big $#!t round the time this game came out......(Google him, and then try a season with him starting...see what happens)

Here's a good example of how good he was, and why The Pack were lickin' there chopps in 90' when they drafted him..........{FFwrd to 3:40}
