tecmoalpha
Never paid much attention to this on any kind of football game but after the season and awards and so forth. Will the cpu set the pro bowl for the afc and nfc? Or is That something I would have to do? If I had to what would be the best way to determine how I would pick the teams. I mean I'm sure I could by looking at stats but is there any other way or any methodsome of my tecmobros out there use? I think it would be cool to set it and play it after a season.. Eric
Are you talking about the postseason awards or actually playing in the pro bowl? Postseason awards are done by the computer and I believe there are weighted odds usually based on league leaders in one particular statistic. The Pro Bowl is the actual Pro Bowlers from that year and the roster never changes. Do I have this right, guys?
tecmoalpha
Yea I was just curious if anyone ever played the pro bowl after playing thru a season.since u say it never changes then I'm guessing I cam look through the league leaders and set my rosters to mimic the best players of the season played....Thanx 4 the info eric
TecSpectre
Eric is right.. Pro Bowl never changes, even if you were to say create a player over a player in the pro bowl, the pro bowl roster would still reflect the original player. It's just a seperate feature. Always AFC vs NFC and that's that. Every now and then, I will sit down to a bowl of a cereal and instead of watching the news or whatever, i'll pop on a com vs com pro bowl game and watch it. joelcsuh
I don't remember the specifics, but you can use created players in the pro bowl if you edit the rosters. In 1997, a friend of mine who was a huge Raider fan tricked his other friend by playing a Pro Bowl game where his roster was all created players. Joe Aska, a pro bowler? On that cart, yes. TecSpectre
How did he do that though? There is not roster editing feature for the pro bowl section of the game.
tecmoalpha
I thought u can make up ur own afc and nfc rosters...that's Y I asked if anyone like looked at the end of season stats and took like the top two afc qbs and made them starters....then the top 4 conference rbsAnd etc...that's what I was asking
tecmoalpha
The end of season all pros and mvp and Offense/defensive player of the years could help me build my pro bowl rosters but they are all rolled into one meaning they represent both conferences so I guess I would have to really dig deep in the league leaders to build my pro bowl rosters
TecSpectre
Outside of editing the ROM, I do not believe you can do that, at least, not on the SNES. I haven't looked at the genesis game in a while, but I don't remember being able to do it on there either.
