deadfaulkner
Ooh I like this game! I've got tons of these. Let's start with a tame one: we all know the "Super Bowl Shuffle" from the 85 Bears, but have you seen the Patriots' response video, entitled "New England, The Patriots and We"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INBayZpjeSY Leonard Fournette
Bad Moon Rison
Ha, I was just about to post that Patriots video.
Slippery Nips
Looked for, "I gotta feelin', that Buffalo's goin' to the Super Bowl / And yeah, it ain't the last time, that Buffalo's goin' to the Super Bowl".... but couldn't find it. deadfaulkner
The "Ram It" video and "Hey, Hey Tampa Bay" both have some creepy overtones to their lyrics, so in that vein, here are the 1988 Eagles reminding us all that Buddy Ryan likes to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlR6ujpB89k broncofan7 and Leonard Fournette
deadfaulkner
Seriously, I love this stuff - I'm posting one a day until I get through the ones I know of. Here is perhaps the most ambitious of the wave of 80s NFL music videos, with the 1986 Cleveland Browns' unique offering, "Masters of the Gridiron." Featuring C Mike Baab as the "Baabarian," LB Clay Matthews as "Clayrock," and RB Kevin Mack as "Mackmaulus," this Conan-inspired gem is over 16 minutes in length: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHx6-ekmawk
deadfaulkner
Not a real music video, but just since I'm in the mood for some love for the Vikings, Skol! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv0XGMCeU-I kamphuna8
JPinnacle
Haha, I'm glad I started this thread! All sorts of ridiculousness going on here. That Cleveland video, man, words fail me. Not a song, but here's some candid footage of Tecmo faves having fun with the late Ray Combs on Family Fued. Lots of classic tomfoolery here. >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf1wYAlua6w

Green Majik
This vid is more relevant to the Tecmo SNES days, but I couldn't find anything for the 80s/early 90s Packers. They didn't have a whole lot to be jazzed about. The rest of the 90s proved to be a different story, however.>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6765-GKyW0Y&list=PLNH-hov6rfj7cqegRNfnEbSeA-kLhyk1K
deadfaulkner
This 1985 video actually predates the "Super Bowl Shuffle" and is, I believe, the first true music video with NFL players as the performers. Lots of Seahawks in their underwear. Makes you wonder why they didn't call it "Film Room Rock" instead of "Locker Room Rock - it'd have saved us all a lot of embarrassment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-9AdWthjfU

deadfaulkner
I can't touch your Charger video, kamph, but your Dolphins' video exhibits a classic error: a complete lack of Zubaz pants - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJvTWmUYTII buck
~Tailback King~
>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxkKlzInR4Y ERIC DICKERSON KILLED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boy got skillz!!!!!!!!!!!
deadfaulkner
ERIC DICKERSON KILLED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boy got skillz!!!!!!!!!!! Dickerson may have killed it, but I find the "Mountain Man from West VA" (all-pro guard Dennis Harrah) to be absolutely terrifying. With that low camera angle pointed straight up at his crotch, the words "I learned long ago / if you ram it just right / you can ram it all day / and ram it all night" are particularly frightening. A couple of years ago the Found Footage festival unearthed a "making of" video about "Ram It" that is maybe as hilarious as the actual video. The choreographer talks at length about how "masculine" the dancing is, and there are a bunch of players talking about how this was an important opportunity to really be role models for the kids, all of it without even a trace of irony. I don't know how to embed things that aren't from youtube, but you can watch it at the link below:http://www.foundfootagefest.com/2013/03/making-of-lets-ram-it/ Also, you'd have thought that winning four Super Bowls in the 80s would have given the 49ers a decent budget for a video, but apparently not. Here's the San Francisco contribution to the world of embarrassing NFL music videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRsiFd5tYqk
Bad Moon Rison
Just because Jerry Rice can dance doesn't mean he should rap.
~Tailback King~
Jerry Rice can't dance, (even if he was on dancin' wit the stars) and he sure as hell should NEVER think about touchin' a mic.............leave all the multi talented s#!t to Eric Dickerson!!! F*cc dancin' wit the stars, Dickerson was on SOUL TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (BTW, The NFL Network has a really good documentary on Eric Dickerson playin' right now............WATCH IT if you wanna know about the greatest player of all time)
