Ea Sports NCAA 14 to TSB attribute mapping

I'm pretty sure NCAA doesn't use anything that Madden doesn't, so here are the spreadsheets that I use to convert Madden ratings to Tecmo.  You'll have to "unhide" the columns next to each attribute to see what I used from Madden to determine the corresponding rating in Tecmo.

Sure.  By the way, last year the Madden team dropped the ball and omitted the Acceleration column when they released their player ratings spreadsheet last year, so I had to improvise.  For QB's, RB's, FB's, and LB's, I didn't intend to use Madden's Acceleration rating anyway (used Madden's Elusiveness rating to determine RP for QB's, RB's, FB's, and used Madden's Pursuit rating to determine RP for LB's).  For the rest of the positions you see on there though, just know that I intended to use Acceleration from Madden to determine RP but had to use Agility or some other concoction instead.

Good luck with this. I tried it before with an older version (2011) and  I could never get it right. Most people doesn't even know ncaa ratings deep enough to really know what ports over to be useful in TSB. BTW, there is no spreadsheet for this for NCAA

Hey Knobbe, two questions: (1) are you creating a new college football rom? (2) if so, are you still going to give every offensive player a 69 for RP?

Actually, I'm looking to create a college rom generator.

It's going to be a rom with no helmet designs or anything like that but you can drop down which teams you want to use.

I'll probably give everyone 69 rp but that's really up in the air.  The accuracy of the players and attributes are really secondary.

Do you mean there is no spreadsheet that exists of EA Sports NCAA 2014-15 players/attributes?

I would more say 13-14 (Ncaa 2014). I am of course working on a college rom but that won't be until next week at the earliest.

OperationSports.com is putting together rosters for NCAA 2013-14. I'm dumping rosters/attributes off of there if you want them

I saw that yesterday when I was on. What I'm really excited about is their general editor for Save files for playstation. If only I had a clue about hex editing, I'd be in heaven with that game

I would love to get the rosters, Matt.  That's something that always held me up with college roms, so much roster legwork and so little (or too complicated to retrieve) data.

There is a little bit of a learning curve but I figured out how to use the editor.  Basically you copy your file off the Playstation USB (if you're not using someone elses), use the program "Bruteforce" to decrypt the file, use the editor, and then encrypt the file again.

Cool, I'll post a spreadsheet I have from last week.

I'll post it tomorrow morning.

I should probably change the title of this to NCAA 2014-15 or something like that.  I'm more interested in building an app to slap 32 out of 130 teams on a rom than what the actual teams are

It's a rather large file so far and makes for a much better database than spreadsheet

All of the tabs except "Master" and "Lookup" are taken straight out of the editor.  The only changes they have are the descriptions are added above the 4 digit database field names.

The "Master" is flawed in a sense because guys have multiple depth chart attributes and this displays only one.
