With pitchers and catchers just 16 days out, I figured its time to kick the tires on BBSIM. Here's a gander at the mock up of the title screen and box art for Baseball Simulator 2014.

Who is the guy in the Game SKIP screen??

 

 

And the announcer on the skip screen is Bob Uekcer, announcer for the Milwaukee Brewers (I believe) and co-star of the 1989 Cinema Classic, "Major League."

Let's not forget Mr. Belvadere  and of course Wrestlemania 3  : )

Update on this: 

editing stadiums is a pain in the rear, so that's on the back burner for now.

New title screen is in the rom

palettes are being uncooperative, so "2014" may have to stay orange. I'm amassing stats right now and hope to have a final release within the next few weeks.

I believe BBSIM is built on a similar engine as RBI baseball. The stat sets are mostly the same, and as I understand, Culture Brain (who made BBSIM) has some connection to Tengen (who made RBI Baseball). Once I get a chunk of time, i'll see if i can glean any info from TecmoTurd's RBI 30-team rom to see if it applies to BBSIM. Other than that, it's wait until I learn ASM.

Thanks Keith, great work.  My one and only suggestion: use last names instead of first, even with the four character limit.

Last names might be best for next year, you're right. Too many Mikes and Michaels.
