buck
I got em all. too many to even list. have most of the guys rookie cards. I collected football cards like mad from 86-90. philleyOphish
I love 1989 Pro Set. It's just my favorite. They aren't worth anything because Lud Denny the owner had all these printing presses and just printed a fuckload of cards and flooded the market. So, a complete set could be had for around $20. However, there are some really cool pictures and many many memories. I could look at the set of 1989 pro set for hours, just the photography alone was amazing.Buck is a huge 1989 Score guy. moulds33
MY FYN 79
I have a ton of cards from this era because that's when we were "that" age and collecting like mad. Its also why TB and TSB are so immortal to us, cause they came out during the "golden" age. Good old Pro Set cards too. I remember back then a place called Kay-Bee toys and hobbies would sell wax boxes of the Pro Set cards for some ridiculous price like $5.00. There sure were a lot of Pro Set cards floating around. Never knew about the owner printing off so many, that explains a lot. Any one else remember the wild card football cards? Think I still have a bunch of numbered cards.. IIRC you could send them in to get something else?? Damn, I should really dig out my cards again someday and check them out. Prolly been a good 10 years. rmm1976
I bought a complete sealed 1991 SCORE football set on ebay for like 10 bucks. I highly recommend this CHEAP set as a fun reference to anyone who appreciates NES TSB as much as I do. Example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCORE-NFL-FOOTBALL-CARDS-UNOPENED-BOX-FROM-1991-COLLECTORS-SET-690-PLAYER-CARDS-/171070643727?pt=US_Football&hash=item27d49ade0f EDIT: This set is great for a Tecmo fan because it has almost every player in the game (including many offensive linemen) including their 1990 STATS that were used for the game attributes on the back, and comments on each and every player. *I'd estimate 85-90% of players, and nearly all the starting position players. rmm1976
Look at my post up above. I haven't verified every one but I'm pretty sure the 1991 SCORE set that I linked has almost all of them, if not every player... And you can pick it up for less than the cost of a lunch. rmm1976
OK, so forget my post. I was putting together my HSTL team tonight using this set and it is missing some players. I edited my post above, it's still a great CHEAP reference set but it is missing a bunch of OL and some backup players... Randy I would say it probably has some of you're missing players (I'm looking at Chris Jacke right now) so you still may want to pick it up for a dollar plus shipping or whatever... buck
true purist would acquire ROOKIE CARDs of each NES TSB player. or at least the stars! (yes, Bob Nelson is a STAR)
joelcsuh
comc.com is a good place to look for individual cards as well because you can browse for free and actually look at the cards. This might be spam. Especially because I am user joelshitshow over there. But I mean it for conversational purposes only. Go look for free and don't buy. Antispam. HADDIX45
Hey guys. These are not actual "cards" but custom 5x7 photos signed by "notable" TSB players. Sorry I watermarked the Okoye. I don't want it circulating the internet unmarked. Likely the best TSB (legacy wise) player I could attain. Bo charges ungodly amounts for his autograph and I got all of these guys free.
