I am wondering how to get the six divisions to have 6 different division names on the standings screen.

For may 1968, 1967 and 1969 roms I need there to be able to have 6 different division names, East, West, Coastal, Central, Capital and Century. Anyone know how to do this. Also how do you control if AFC or NFC is at the top of the division screen. I know this is all just superficial but it is important to me.

I did that once, I think it was just "text", but how did u manage to leave a team "OUT" of this "standings screen" in your '67 rom?? Is that because they are in some other conference?

The Cursor coords. for the STANDINGS screen are at x23ADB-x23AEC.

The TEXT begins at x1E540 (and it is TEXT)

Now, the problem here is when you get "into" this menu, because at the top it shows:

" *** AFC/NFC STANDINGS *** "

"EASTERN/CENTRAL/WESTERN DIVISION"

All of this is text as well, but the Eastern/Central/Western   is applied on both AFC and NFC.

So, Does anyone know how to change this between conferences??

This TEXT: "EASTERN/CENTRAL/WESTERN" at x1eff5-1f00b, is "called-on-screen" by the 6 "pointers" at:

1. x1efc3-1efc4 (e5af)(corresponding Eastern-AFC)

2. x1efc9-1efca (edaf)(corresponding Central-AFC)

3. x1efcf-1efd0 (f5af)(corresponding Western-AFC)

1. x1efd5-1efd6 (e5af)(corresponding Eastern-NFC)

2. x1efdb-1efdc (edaf)(corresponding Central-NFC)

3. x1efe1-1efe2 (f5af)(corresponding Western-NFC)

**Because it is "text-data" it will stop "reading" until it gets to a  "FF-byte" . IF default space for this text (7 letters) is "exceeded" it will STILL be "written" on the back-layer.

And because the "writable" space is limited by 23 bytes (1eff5-1f00b), making 6 "different" divisions (almost 4 letters each, "FF-byte" not included ) is really difficult to do.
