I found a used gamestore last week that tried to cut me a deal of 15 dollars on this game. i have never played it, he claimed it was the best one, I figured that was just him trying to get me to buy it.

So I ask you guys is it really any good?

I do have the SNES cartridge of TSB 1 finally, and wouldn't mind having them all I guess.

Is it the SNES or Gens version? I found the SNES version to be pretty fun actually and $15 is a good price

Yea it's worth it! They didnt make very many of them. To get it back in the day we had to rent it and "lose" it to buy it. The three season thing is pretty cool.

Yep it's the SNES version. Guy wanted 25 bucks for it, offered me 15 cause I bought TSB I for the SNES from him, and he sells used DVDs that I've been buying real cheap.

Think I might get it Friday. This is the only one I have never played.

to each their own, but i personally prefer the genesis tecmo super bowl games over the snes. not saying the snes ones are bad i like them as well, but i just like the genesis games better. 13 years ago i bought the genesis one at a beeper shop and i was lucky because i wasn't expecting to get it until i saw it for 5 bucks. my older brother bought in the beginning of 1995 but sold all the genesis and snes games to buy the playstation 1 the next year or 2. to this day i have all 3 super bowl games on genesis and tsb 3 on snes plus the tsb psx game. but i have collected all of them thru emulation. so yes get the game because chances are if u don't have emulation or play them that you might never see it again. besides i really enjoyed the bgm music for the genesis tsb 2 plus the cutscenes when you win the division,afc/nfc title and super bowl as well as when you get 100 yards rushing,300 yards passing and 150 yards receiving.

have you ever actually, realized all the flaws the gens versions 1 & 2 actually have??? stat tracking in 1 is horribly inaccurate. On tsb2 the sim code is wayyyyy off!! I was just tinkering around with hacking tsb2 during the Olympics and noticed the amount of scores that ended in ties and the same scores that repeated. Much like Tecmo bowl kickoff. I do like the way the graphics are in the gens versions, just not all the flaws. It makes them unplayable.

The SNES version of TSB II is worth about twice that of the Genesis cart. $15, even for just the cart, is a great deal. They typically fetch $30 online.

I agree there, and the one thing TSB II is missing for stat tracking is turnovers and all that. They should have made a category for who's got the most INT, FUM, and all together and you could track that data next to the stats of defenses. If that was in the game or at least TSB III I wouldn't go through all the trouble of calculating turnovers going into the playoffs.
