Happy to release my 2012 end of season rom. I have also included a color coded excel cheat sheet for the team rankings.

Attached File  bruddog_end of season_2011_2012_with hacks.zip   225.45K   378 downloads

Some teams are probably better than they were during the season since I didn't downgrade players much if it all because of their injuries ie: (Houston(schaub) Buffalo, (Jackson), Oakland (McFadden).

See this thread for the hacks the rom uses.

I will try and adjust the ratings and release a vanilla version in a week or so.

Can you give a very quick overview of play-ability for the different game-types? B)

MAN?
COA?
COM?

Man vs man that's what it's designed for

Com/Coa- probably best to wait for the vanilla version as the com will take too many sacks and is just generally stupid. The com will probably be slightly easier to beat than the original rom because of the hack that has the dl busting in more

not bad, glad to see the Bengals play pretty well compared to a few other ROMS ive checked out, kinda disappointed Frostee Rucker was represented over Carlos Dunlap though and ive noticed that on just about every version besides 1

Mattro- I hear you. DL gets tricky on who to include. In some cases the I averaged the ratings of two DL together and the guy that played significantly more snaps made the rom

living in Cincinnati and being a Bengals fan its easy for me to complain since I know my team but I appreciate everything you guys do here, I probably take your work to another level though since I play the ROMS on my PSP that I finally got modded so I can take them with me anywhere and play anytime

I appreciate the feedback and you are definitely correct. Dunlap was one of the highest rated DE's from the site I used to rate defenders.

But the issue was that he and rucker split time. They both had about 450 snaps or so. So essentially I averaged a crappy pass rusher together with an awesome one which equaled pretty much an average guy. I did that with a number of teams but maybe I should just stick dunlap on there.

I cant remember if you had Geno Atkins at DT but he's better than Domata Peko in my opinion, really I think the line goes Michael Johnson and Frostee Rucker splitting, Peko and Atkins in the middle and Dunlap split time with Robert Geathers

is there any value to be taken from skp vs. skp games used for stat extractions in this rom? I'd love a good 2012 rom for my site.

I did spend a little time on the sim aspect so it should be decent. However I definitely won't claim to have the best rom as far as skp sim mode goes.

Thanks man. Typically i dont do preseason roms. I have a few times but not this season. so you're going to have to wait until the end of the season.

Bruddog, I've heard from you before that your ROM isn't intended to be played vs. the CPU. Can you elaborate on the pratfalls of a MAN vs. CPU game using your ROM?

With THIS specific ROM you can definitely play the CPU. I just spent the bare minimum time in terms of the SIM, CPU juice, default playbooks and little things like that.

Ahhhhh. This ROM is much different from your 2008-built Player vs. Player ROM? Are these two ROMs your 'main' ROMs?

I would say so yes.

There are probably some old vanilla style roms from old years floating around too like 2002, a 91 redo, and a few others.
